What are some great moments in Dark Souls that you guys have done.

Mine would have to be when I was fighting O&S for the first time ever and heard how hard they were. Well I reached the fog door going to the blacksmith for some upgrades and was low on souls so I was like what the hell I'll fight em...

I got in there focused on O first and killed him after about 15 minutes of block/dodge poke him with a spear. When S smashe him to go crazy I literally went OH SHOOT HE'S MAD(It's a family forum lol) I got him down to about two hits left on him and I was out of estus. I charged him and attacked him He smashed me and I died but not after I dealt the final blow on him.

Most proud thing I've ever done in Dark Souls

When i killed gwyn on my tank. I actually tanked him like a boss. Ill top that soon with my new challenges. XD

As a summon I've done many a nice deed.

Distract invaders till my host gets to the boss, attack and kill the boss to kill it just before dying, taking hits for them so that they stay alive even if I die...

Damn I'm a good sunbro

On my own file, not sure what I could say as "awesome", but there's a lot of moments on bosses I've enjoyed

Flawless victories on Quelaag and gaping dragon. Forgot the combo for the fatalities though

I wouldn't call it amazing, but it was sure as hell rewarding after.


I had decided to put my summon sign down in the depths, help with Gaping Dragon and nab a good chuck of souls if I could. So I get summoned a few times, but most were nothing special, a straight run to the boss and then the easy fight with him, but my last summon of the day was something else.

So I enter, and look at my host. He was in the starting sorcery set and everything. THats no big deal at all I thought, just someone trying the class for the first time. So, we head off, and I soon learn this won't be like most of my sessions of jolly coop in the Depths. Leading a lost and obviously scared host through the depths, showing him the location of the the items. Watching him fall into the Basilisk lair, and the panic I felt. Rushing down there with no curse resistance to speak of other then 3 humanity, but still taking the lead to protect the host. Seeing him panic when Kirk invades, but showing him it was an NPC. Getting him to unlock the shortcut to the bonfire, and then having him in the end, be smart enough to stay away from gaping and riddle him with soul arrows while I great lightning spear and chop at its back side.

To this date thats been my best coop session, now its my favorite thing to do online in this game. Jolly cooperation is the best!

Newly cosplaying as a DA:O Templar. Got a message after I killed this female toon saying "I've been a bad bad Malificar..."

To which I reply

"Then were going to have to make you a Tranquil and sever your connection to the fade and all emotional parts of your brain thus rendering you a mindless slave to the Chantry. Serves you right."

God how I laughed when I go that message.... creepy but still outrageously funny that some one recognised my Templar cosplay.

Had a 4 free for all in the kilin with three dark wraiths with my Sl 623 character.

We were all high lvl and could use most spells I was just using pyro and Moonlight great sword and with 99 dex I was firing pyro everywhere they everyone was dodging it was awesome Pyro/connon Man.

earlier today on my fist build. i zoned into a usual 2 man ganking team. forest hunter came to my rescue and held off the enemy phantom, which was great because i for sure could not take another hit. host tried to get that last hit, BAM parried. the riposte ended that particular gankers life.

On my first playthrough, I was struggling with Ornstein and Smough. Like, really badly. I was down to my last humanity, and realized that there were summon signs around the bonfire. 2 minutes later, me, a guy with steel armour and a zweilhander and a dual katana wielding ninja were standing outside the fog gate. We simultaneously did 3 separate gestures... and charged in. A minute later, I was standing there holding Smough's soul in my inventory. It. Was. Glorious.
