    Just another little forum game I saw on another game's forums that I thought would be interesting here happy
    The rule is simple, make an incredibly minor adjustment to the way an item/spell/mechanic works that would make it a useless or overpowered mechanic.

    So here goes:

    Greatshields' shield bashes guarantee a stagger, regardless of the opponent's poise.

    Seems we need some clarification on what qualifies as "minor." So:

    Good Examples: (Small change, gamechanging impact)

    you have to lock on for CHSM/HSM to work.

    halberds/great scythes/hammers etc do not have a wiff punishment

    raw weapons hold buffs for twice as long as regular (2 min or up to 3 if you have the lingering ring on)

    Durability is tough to "break" with just a minor tweak, but the best I can come up with for something like this would be:

    Special attacks that cost durability only drain durability if their special effects activate, and cannot be activated if the weapon would be put at risk or broken.

    Example: Using a Dragon King Greataxe R2 at full durability will cause the shockwaves as normal. Using it when the weapon has 200 durability and would be put at risk if it were used again will cause it to do the special animation slam attack, but no shockwaves would be produced and no durability would be lost.

    But I don't think that would change much about the weapons. Maybe just add another move to their move set once you lose enough durability
    Although, that could be big on some cases.

    Dark wood grain ring only is aesthetic and works at below 30% burden - meaning it is only a minor difference and ruins the item MUAHAHAHAHAHAH No more clown flips now B**CH
