The rule is simple, make an incredibly minor adjustment to the way an item/spell/mechanic works that would make it a useless or overpowered mechanic.
So here goes:
Greatshields' shield bashes guarantee a stagger, regardless of the opponent's poise.

Seems we need some clarification on what qualifies as "minor." So:
