by sparkly-twinkly-lizard Tue May 22, 2012 1:49 amon my dads file he killed the 4 kings and went back to see ingward to pick up some curses, ingward wouldn't sell and said he'd take a vacation, a little while later he shows up in firelink saying wherever he went was to bright and now hes in firelink offerign his services, has aanybody else had this happen?!

i wonder... he said he was gonna visit somewhere sunny so anorlondo? what if its darkened or did he just visit the parish or something... hmm, and dad just duplicated ingward showing up in firelink on another toon so, well i guess you learn something new everyday

Yeah, I do this every single playthrough.
After he gives you the key and you defeat the Four Kings, if you go back and talk to him he'll move to Firelink. He'll cure your curse and sell you either a sorcery or a miracle you can't get anywhere else, I can't remember.

Kill the Four Kings.
Speak to him again.
Next time you check, he'll be in Firelink Shrine.

The thing is barely anyone goes back to talk to him after killing the kings. New Londo is just an annoying place to go through unless you need to.

I never do this myself, but I know for a fact this happens. You have to kill four kings first, then talk to him and he moves to firelink so you can buy curses off him and purging stones
However nobody would think to do that now as both are available from female undead merchant, so it's almost pointless.

I never did this because I hate going through the "ghost" part of New Londo but when I found out that talking to him after beating the 4 Kings moves him out of the ruins and into Firelink I do it all the time now - mostly as a favor to Ingward himself because he's pretty cool, as NPCs go, and I agree with him, it's high time he sees the sun again.

I hate New Londo, why would the developers make a place which costs a ton of souls to go through, and if you're poor requires you to use weapons that you're not used to?

Buy 70 firebombs, and get a heater shield. The Firebombs are worth 50 x 70 = 3500 souls. Heater is worth either 1000 or 800. Go to New Londo, get transient curse form jar. Takes two firebombs to kill a ghost.
Their you go.
