A new arena for fc?

So i have been pvping into the sifs boss area now since i began pvping. And then i thought this would be a perfect place where we could do fc matches? In order to be able to pvp here all you have to do is go down to the sifs boss door and open it up and wait outside the boss door for an invader to come (or to summon others in fc's case) because summon signs dont appear inside where it technicly counts as a boss area. once you summon sombody or get invaded just go inside the boss area and duel. The only catch is that the host cant run into the sif sword which triggers the boss battle. So yeah a huge arena and while duels are happening inside the boss area invaders CANNOT invade your world, how cool is that? what do you guys think?

Forest hunters only bother you at the begining of the place From the area with the forest defenders (the enimys who look like starter classes) to the starting stairs that you walk down. Thats it when your at the boss gate the only invaders that bother you is normal red ones which are fairly rare there.
so just run past everything and head straight to the boss gate, simple as that.

The principle for having FC in places like Blighttown and Sen's is they have a very low amount of online traffick there. However, the forest has a great amount which would interrupt the flow of the club, which is why I don't think it's that suitable.

like i just said to billy the only time when the forest covenant actually bothers you is when your ib between the verry begining and the covenant cat. if you go beyond that you dont get invaded by forest hunters, only the ocasional actual red invaders. and like i said once you have your 2 red phantoms summond just go into the arena and because its the boss area nobody can invade you.

in theory it could work though, host goes hydra way, then stands just inside boss room and pops his head out when someone drops a sign grabs it waits then goes back into boss room, cant be invaded and yeah it could work

Dont even have to go the hydra way, ive been here now for the past few weeks just killing normal red invaders and i just simply run straight through the forest defenders (the starter class lookalikes) and by the time im past the cat i havent really given anybody enough time to invade. So far the past 2 weeks i got invaded by 2 forest invaders, the rest were red phantoms. yes i go there to pvp and you might say "well wouldent there be alot of traffic? and no there really isent most times it takes 15-20 mins for an invader to come in, i just sit down listening to music and reading up on the forums while waiting.

Or, the host could join the Forest covenant. That would significantly limit invasions. But, it really is a short run through the Forest. I normally don't have much of a problem getting to Sif. If I get invaded, I continue to run and I beat them to Sif.

everytime ive done a run to sif ive been invaded by the generic builds, and then get backstabbed with BKGA with a hornets ring while im dashing to sif

but how could they catch you? i often make it to sif without anyone even spawning.

for some reason i have to be in the forest 30 secs before an invader appears

really? i just haul arse straight to sif and besides the 2 times i mentiond earlier they almost never have enough time to invade. but yeah the genaric flip+hornet tactic is everywhere now anyway

Do you fight the NPCs? i always just run past them

stick the left and run past them, but 9/10 before i hit alvinas house itll say blah blah has invaded

Sif's area is cool we could try that. The host just have to stay close to the door in order to not trigger the boss fight.

i recently started liking sen's A LOT, we could move it to sen's and maybe go to btown evey once in a while.

the only way the host can trigger the boss fight is if he walks into the boss sword in the center of the giant arena. the host can go inside the arena if he wants just dont walk into the sword which is easy enough not to do

Join Alvina's covenant. I suspect that would drastically reduce invasions.

only one way to know if its good. lets have a go, im in. tho i will be super bummed to get stabbed in the back on my way to recover my souls and humanity and lose it all. again.

like i said if you just sprint straight there, even if sombody invades you just keep running untell you reach your souls and then turn around and face the invader. But besides that the only real threat is the gravelord servents very seldom but when it does happen on the way there at the bottom of the stairs there will be like 5 black phantom mushroom men, its possible to run around them but i suggest waiting till the servent leaves or take the long route around with the side bridge.
