it kicks butt, i did a OHK counter hit to a vader with it, neither of us was expecting that. was awesome!!! and i liked the fire balls, was super fun to avoid. thought i was using mura at that point tho? which is around that dmg..

counter hit playstyle is way different and hard too, i usually end fight with less than 1/4 hp left. lots of trading blows. there are three different damage conditions to counters ive seen. still experimenting tho. see you this eve bro.

trust me i still have fun, im just looking for ways to counter it with out being considered cheap.

@Wyrm that duel today... 10hp left lol. if i would have swung just 1 more time with my chaos blade any point in that match i would have died also. i had no idea your life was even that low, i thought u were working me all match

yes, i played around with the claymore a bit too. sooo mean....

the rolling stab attacks seem easier to dodge then some other weapons. but when it hits it will hit harder then my riposts with HR

With practice, the Leo Ring could become its own playstyle. Rather than analyzing your opponent's playstyle and attack patterns and take advantage of it with parrying, you could do it with counter-hits instead. Not only would it be safer, and more lag-effective, depending on the weapon I think it could also be more lethal. I'm returning to the Greatsword in my head... 2h-R2, or rolling-R1; counter-hit with those and you'd be ridiculously lethal.

Damn... just when I said in another thread that I think I've made my last builds, now I want to make a Greatsword Leo Ring toon!

i always wanted to try it cause i saw the damage it did but i dont really like dex builds or spears(so cheap and boring because of lag)

^I think that's due to From's underestimating the lag in PvP during production. They figured "poking weapons do so little damage, we should give them a ring to increase it," not knowing those weapons (in the right hands, of course) turned out to be virtually impossible to dodge and their users to hit... But yeah, I toyed around with those weapons (rapiers and spears) for a while, and they get quite boring--poke, roll, poke, roll, etc.

agree, spears are lame, needs more slashing circle attacks, like a bow staff.
