Well yeah, since we had the opinions on buffs thread, I thought I'd start one for opinions on VIT builds, as I know it's a gripe of some people.

Your more than welcome to build your toon any way you want. Its not cheap, but i think its boring.

Well i'm not sure about that either... the minimum to make up for a loss of 350ish magic damage on a BSS. 99 VIT + FAP + MoM = 2622 hp btw. Slightly overkill i'm sure.

well i roll with 63 vit, moms/fap ring. i have about 2200.
i don't bother with those weapon buffs tho, just the chaos blade and lifehunt with some pyromancies.

aye but rifter - he specifically wants to run the BSS as it is a fun and better weapon than the katana's. Katana's are overused and now boring... Except for in DeS - those things never get old! anyway I have no view on Vit Gouging - it still dies generally to a parry R2 Ricards Rapier combo ( with Leo Ring ) :L

14 if using a "pure" vit build with elemental weapons and 99 vit.
40 if using +15 and more like 70 vit
45 if +15 and pyros. probably wont do this as relying on pyro hasn't help me improve.

90vit/40end/16str/14dex. a bunch of fitting elemental weapons. thats what your looking for. boring yes but elemental weapons just arent that great for sl120 fights. decent sure.

The only problem with having your vitality that high is that your health bar stops growing before your Vit does. Makes keeping track of your bar a bit of pain. Or at least it was for me.

According to the character planner, the max health you get get is 2753. This is with 99 vit, mask of mom, ring of favor, and tiny ring.

i have around 1800 life just enough to live through a Hornet ring crit from the biggest weapons. plus i use Chaos blade and that drains my life..

well with my main i am running 50 vit 28 str and 18 dex so i can weild a chaos murakumo and by the way i have 60 end so i can wear full catarina without using havel which makes me wear dark wood grain ring for ninja flips and wolf ring for extra poise which makes me a monster in toe to toe
