titanite Catch Pole

Just picked one up from the Demon in the Catacombs, and I wanna know if this is a rare drop or something common I've never gotten before.

I think it is some what rare weapon. It took me very long to get it for first time. But then again once i got it from first titanite demon at the beginning of darkroot garden.

It's rare since its a random drop from the titanite demons and you can't farm them and there aren't too many around. But it isn't very good anyways

You can farm the one in Lost Izalith. He respawns

I never had a tough time. If you really want one you can get it in one playthrough without farming as long as you equip the covetous serpent ring whenever you fight them.

The real question is: is it worth it to bother? I don't really think it is. Unless you get one early I think there's always going to be something better to be using.

I never really found a use for them. If I did a really heavy build I might use it, but it is too slow in my opinion. If it had an electric attack that might change my attitude.

But I normally get it off of one of the Sen's Fortress demons once I get the gold serpent ring, and I'm going to kill them anyways, so might as well boost your odds of getting a rare drop while you do it.

Besides that you even have good chances if you have good humanity, I've gotten them from the demon next to andrei with 10 humanity.

titanite Pole is kinda rare to get. The only respawning titanite Demon is in Lost Izalith by where you can fight Solaire. But I have never used the titanite Pole throughout any of my games. (Just a collectors equipment)

Trident on the other hand is a pretty rare weapon to get. The only respawning Channelers are in the Archives and try having max item discovery while trying to get the Trident. Took me quite awhile to get it but eventually I was able to obtain it farming the Channelers in the Archives. I believe you can get the Trident from any of the Channelers throughout the game. I wish you luck at getting the Trident and remember not to give up on anything!

If you kill all the demons in Sens you're guaranteed to get a catch pole, 100% drop rate in the last one you kill there. Otherwise it's a very rare drop from any of the other ones.
