Catarina Set

This is a noob question, but well I want to be sure, do the Catarina set is making something to succes you'r parry rate better ?

As it's said on the description, but I do think it's just the "role-play" part, and that it's not changing anything if you're using this armor or an other, if you're trying to parry every time you can.

On topic, Im pretty sure the armour does nothing to benefit parrying.

it must be a mistake from the developers, technically the curved shape of this sets parts would give better deflection (not parrying) of slash attacks because the blade would slip rather than find resistance when hitting a curved area, hence its high slash defence. just a random thought!

Agree with robotech. The gloves may also help parrying, but not in-game.

Also note that the Catarina set has the same weight for helm, chest and leggings as the Elite Knight set, but out-performs in most stats and requires no slabs or chunks. Less farming for a better result...? Ofcourse that's only if you're okay with the belly.

Robotech is probably right, especially considering both Siegelinde and Siegemeyer use shields that can't even parry!
