okay i feel really great

I'm on my first play through and I'm feeling awesome right now. I've spent the day dealing with New Londo which was awful. Lost two bloodstains which had a lot of humanity and other frustrating nonsense. Then finally I got down to the damn gate to the Abyss while human with 10 humanity to power my Chaos Blade. I went in solo and just figured I'd go balls out with the CB against those Four Kings and see how I did, well it took all 10 Estus+4s and 1 humanity (they sucked some away and I needed to repower my CB) but I *** beat them first go! I feel like I just climbed a mountain or something its really great, I love Dark Souls.

What made it even better is after my stupid failures I was gonna quit for the day, I told myself one last try and I did it. Made it feel that much better

The trick is Iron Flesh, a bad *** sword and tons of Estus lol

4kings are easy until NG+ imo i remeber slapping on full havels and BK sword+4 and just tanked damage and went to town.

Yeah and I just went through it all over again. Loved the game through all of Demon's Ruins, hated the the game in Lost Izlath and wanted to break my Tv on the Bed Of Chaos, beat him on try 12 or 15 lol and I love it again.

Agreed. So much rage...SO MUCH RAGE. Only two conditions have ever made me want to throw a controller in this game. The second one was a recent gravelording in Anor Londo, and the first was my first fight against the bed of chaos...dear lord why From, WHY FROM, WHYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!

I've died over 500 times to that boss, and killed it less than twenty times...The horror.

Okay good I'm glad I'm not alone. What made it worse was a valuable bloodstain I lost to him, no longer have enough humanity to fuel my Chaos Blade which nakes me suck at PvP. That Bed Of Chaos really ruined my life.

Bed of Chaos... is probably too easy when 2 players cooperate.... Choose your Difficulty?

Its great work to deal ALONE with Bosses! And even beat them makes the victory very valuable! Congrats man!

Believe it or not: I punished the 4 Kings with a Bandits Knife +15 in my first playthrough.

Don't mean to turn the blade in the wound, but Bed of Chaos is easy... Just need to watch her attacks, and there are so many places where she can't even hit you while you take a coffee break.

Btw federally, you have to leave some bosses alive if you want to duel!

Nice work, Federally :shock:. I've not faced Four Kings yet, so I have all the excitement to come, but I can guarantee that I won't do it on my first try, so well done. I defeated Orsntein and Smough solo (after many, many attempts) the other day and felt incredible, but I'm dreading Four Kings. Enjoy your victory .

Nice work dood! Props for beating them on the first go around, it definitely took me many more tries to beat them on my first playthru. Not to spoil anything but Four Kings on NG+ were br00tal until I found the right strategy that worked. Good luck!

Also, really? Bed of Chaos? I died several times but I didn't find that boss all that hard. Like BLA1NE was saying, all you have to do is watch her attacks and get in at the right time...

Yes it was hard and frustrating. I don't think I ever once got directly killed by an attack but I fell through the floor or got knocked back by an attack into a hole too many times to count. It's just a totally different type of 'fight', since you don't actually fight the boss, and I really struggled with it. So yes some of us struggled with this boss even if you didn't.

Edit: also Bla1ne Priscilla the halfbreed is still alive so when you get over your extreme fear of me (lol) and wanna duel we can go to painted world!

I make a lot of glass cannons, which works well for most bosses, but not the bed of chaos. Plus whenever I get into the third phase I'm often killed by the pillars of fire as I'm going through the roots, or riding down the slide.

I too fell through the floor many times. But for me it was figuring out what to do after breaking both orbs. I spent a ton of time trying to get close without falling in one of the holes so I could attack. I always found it a good general rule thoughout the game to avoid falling into holes. Who knew you had to purposely fall into a hole in the ground.
