Anyone here a sports fan?

I do think baseball has a certain antiquated charm and the funky statistics involved really do make it a mathematician's dream, but, yes, it is definitely very SLOOOOOOW-paced. I agree, I can't watch golf - that "sport" bores me to tears.

As for soccer/football I can't agree, once you understand the ebb-and-flow of the game it's a marvel to watch. I, for one, am an avid Palmeiras (don't think anyone will know what I am talking about) fan.

But a guess Baseball is kinda like the Cricket of the rest of the world, which I admit is an acquired taste. Golf I find to be pretty boring but if it's on no reason to not watch it.

Dough Guy, Melbourne? Were they the guys who won the aussie league this year? (dont follow that league well at all), but a liverpool fan? Interesting, what kind of players do you think you need to compete for Europe?

Melbourne Storm are the NRL. I follow the Sydney Swans for AFL. And by follow Liverpool I meant I watch the highlights of their games on SBS and cheer when they score. I have no idea whose actually in the team lol.

**** of course, I dont know the nicknames for the different teams for the rugby and football, rather confusing if you're in another country

I'm with serious. Football is the one true sport. It is the one sport to rule them all. And that's coming from a Canadian! (whos parents are italian) haha.
