Serious question, if arrested on a Friday do you get held in jail until Monday? I say this because a very serious incident happened today and I would like to know if we should be wary of a repraisal, considering he likes to drink and do drugs...

I'm not up on laws in your state but the length of stay in NY depends on a number of factors. Is there a judge available immediately tohear details, is there bail our bond granted, is the amount reasonable, etc. Here the term arrest could just mean the police brought the person in and gave them an appearance ticket. If you're immediately involved or invested in the incident and there's fear of retaliation you may want to call the police and see what information they can give.

Yeah, I found the laws for my state and was then promptly reminded of bails. Assuming he is charged considering the amount of witnesses I'm hoping we are able to move away (leaving in roughly a week) before he gets released. Honestly I'm more worried about my roommates but really I was the only person he saw.

I may end up calling them tomorrow and seek more information, right now I do believe he can be detained for 24 hours at least.

Just lock your door because sometimes the justice system uses revolving ones. Particularly when judges grow apathetic to the necessity of creativity in their jobs.

Our doors have been locked for like the past 2 weeks, he's lived in the complex for like almost a month and caused nothing but problems for everyone. He's been dubbed the "crazy guy" for a very good reason.

Thanks, honestly this was the first time I've ever called 911 before. My knees where shaking so bad when the police arrived I ended up having to sit down for awhile (not like this of course)

I had a cray neighbor just like that. The day I moved away I was able to breathe so much easier.

Depressed about liverpool? Dough they'll do better next year, well I hope they were just beginning to warm up at the end of the season but manager got sacked.. We'll see how they do under another new man.

i used to play that when i was younger. but if you wanted to continue playing when you got older then you would have to be really good and it wouldn’t really be for fun anymore, so i stopped playing. i do play with my friends sometimes though

You have to play for a laugh with your friends, we always do headers and volleys, which is a good laugh.

Pretty much, also 3 a side is also really fun. But you never play proper matches with your friends, you can just mess about and have a laugh
