Could be but I would say its more than likely to have a sequel or DLC because the market is there.

I am glad that from is making another souls game but what if they make it easier so that casual players will play it? I hope they make two difficulties one for casuals where they can't summon or invade and don't get achievements and the real game for people who can actually handle it. This maybe making the difficulty "cheap" but I want more people to enjoy the souls series

That article is just a rehash of the interview that came out a while ago and was reported on at the time. I still read it to suggest they're not leaving the "dark RPG" category of games, which is good news but not confirmation of a specific "Dark Souls 2". The article's own update acknowledges this. Not try to burst anyone's bubble, but this doesn't move the needle beyond what other articles/threads have discussed in the past.
