I know right but whos to say it isn't already in the game.

I theorise that there is something in the Abyss not just invisible walls and a bonfire.

The armour is a beast though. look like a new light armour to me.

That wouldn't really make much sense though. Artorias was described as that will of steel dude. And considering that he uses a greatsword type weapon with a poise ring, it's safe to say that it's likely to be a heavy or medium at least. Though maybe that ring was to cover up the light armor.

It kind of looks like a black mix of Shiva and the Darkmoon Knightess' armor.

If Artorias wears heavy armour I will throw a fit. Its not like there isn't enough overly popular heavy armours. Throw us light armour guys a bone FROM!

Anyway I looked at the art book and it looked awfully ragged and fragmented in terms of it armour. Maybe I'll admits its Medium due to its uncanny resemblence to Ornstiens gear. That would be fine for me as long as it didnt weigh too much.

The whole Artoias Build would be silly if you walked like a turtle.

Yeah but that doesn't translate to "I must wear heavy armour".

Historically speaking some of the guys who had the biggest swords had the lightest armours.

Never I'll never use the DWGR! I'll lose, in a ridiculous fashion might I add, my left hand before I let that come to pass.

Oh my god, genius! you have to be as accurate as possible, use the GSoA in your laft hand! Even though in that artwork he is right handed, if that is him.

Does that affect the moveset of the sword?

Yeah, a lot. A lot in a very bad way, as well with a shield in the right you can't block unless you two hand the shield, you can only attack with it.
