need advice catacombs giants tomb ng+

im playing on a int/dex build with decent vitality and endurance, but im really struggling doing the giants tomb and catacombs in ng+. first time round i forgot to get a +10 divine weapon so i only have a divine uchikatana+5 which kills really poorly in ng+ is there anyhting i can do to make it a little easier to atleast get the large divine ember? or any weapons that i can get to make the area easier? thanks for the reply in advance sl 107

If you use a bow (which I assume you do, having Dex) you can snipe most of the Necromancers at a distance in the catacombs. This'll make it so you can off the skelies however you wish.

As for Tomb of Giants, well... Cast Light and a decent shield is the best advice I can give you, hahaha.

If your SL was a little higher I'd help you as a phantom.

haha thanks its not really the necros i have a problem with simply the skelles enmass and just like accidental hits and stuff is magic actually effecctive at killing the skeles or do they jsut stand up? ive tried testing and cant really tell

They will stand up if the necromancers are still alive, unless you use divine. If you kill the necromancers you can kill the skellies however you wish! I think they're not too weak against Magic but fire would work quite well.

okay thanks i think ill be alright just as long as i keep my head down just need to get to that divine ember now then ill be home and dry

Crystal Homing Soulmass destroyrs everything in there, you shouldn't be having problems as an Int build. The dogs always destroy me when I try to melee, I'd just hide behind your shield.
