Anastasia of Astora and bonfire

After killing Lautrec in his world and reviving Anastasia with her soul, I talked to her a couple of times until she started to repeat what she already said (some words of thanks if I remember correctly).
I also talked to her some times more when walking through the area, but she repeated her thanks and nothing more.
When I got to the end of the game, and decided I was going for Gwyn, I "took care" of my unfinished business, including killing most of the NPCs. So I went and killed the firekeeper at Anor Londo and Quelaan, got their souls and took them to Anastasia to upgrade my estus (kinda low of me, I know..).
After the upgrades, I chose talk and she didn't repeat the usual thanks, but I realized that too late - I had already pressed X to skip -. I'm sure it was some kind of thanks but I don't know exactly.
When I walked back up to the bonfire I found she had kindled it to the maximum (20 flasks - I never kindled the bonfire in Firelink so it was at 10 previously)

So now I'm wondering: did she do it because I killed the other firekeepers or because my flask was at +7?

Were you getting 10 when you revived her? I haven't done it in a long time, my bonfires are at 20 anyhow, but that seems more logical.

I'm sure 'cause I usually warp to the Firelink when I want to go to the burg/parish/depths/new londo/darkroot... so I would have noticed!
I didn't kindle any bonfire to 20 so when I first saw it... it was SO BIG

Theres some thing that when you pick a certain side to side with (it may be just one or either because Ibve seen people report thos for both) she kindles the bonfire to max fo you. Something about her soul being swelled by your choice thus poewring up the bonfire.

Like, I killed all the other firekeepers except her and she's honored 'cause she's my favourite?

if i remember she gets exited that you are going to link the fire (even if you pick kaathe's side)
and your bonfire gets kindled to the max

So it happens always towards the end of the game? Maybe after you open the gate for the Kiln? I'm kinda disappointed!

She tells you that after offering the first Lord Soul to the Lordvessel. I've tested it, and octupus is right even if you have sided with kaathe she tells that you agree to link the fire.

After you beat them and placing the lordvessel, talk to her.

Can't remember the dialogue but she thanks you and kindle Firelink bonfire to 20 Estus

Then again the only time i ever let lautrec live was when i sided with kaathe :roll:

And why is it that she cannot speak before dying but talks too much after reviving? :shock:
