Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
As well some it is believed that the Way of White in general may have relations to the PW, Velka has a few ties to them, and Havel worked against Seath who was an ally of the gods. As well he was locked away possibly by a minion of Seath or to keep him away from Seath, basically, there are a lot of little things that relate him to the Painted World.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
I'm sure he helped Gwyn in locking Priscy along with the Dark Ember. Maybe Havel kept it as a souvenir, lol.

Or...He could have been getting ready to strike against the gods...Notice his soldiers aren't around anymore. As well, they have gear hidden away behind an illusion, which reminds me of assassination tactics. With what in there? An occult weapon that is very simple in appearance. Very mysterious, he might actually not have been as close to Gwyn as everyone thinks. But, I'll try and keep my thoughts to the Archives haha.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
It relates somehow... Damn occult club lol. I could exchange Smough's for Havel's, but my mind says no. Smough looks pretty abominable, even if he has nothing to do with PW.

Oh god don't say that! Dough, Skare, Cloud and I will just flood this thread then with ideas and descriptions along with possible connections. Don't make us ponder, you wouldn't like us when we ponder.

It's funny that you mention that, I actually joined the forum to post in that thread. In a way I'm here because of him.
EDIT: Amos, Serious may be losing his title as the reigning champ haha, it also sounds like in a few months you might be passing him up as well.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
Not as an ally, that logic would permit gwyns armor as well. though, to be honest, havels instead of smoughs would wreck my builds poise, i couldn't handle the weight. (giants would be more useful but i can understand its exclusion)
I really cant see a better heavy armor selection from a rp perspective. No other heavy armor set has a solid connection to the pw, so smoughs is definitely a valid choice. After all, should pricilla escape, who else would be sent after her.
As i said, in terms of efficiency giants would work better but smoughs is passable, if stupid looking.

Actually Iron Tarkus and the Steel Knights also have connections, but some might not like to use those sets.

Well it seems Seath had a secret plan to successfully drive the Gods out of Anor Londo, so maybe after he went mad he betrayed Lord Gwyn (speculation).

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
I don't think him planning to betray Gwyn is really speculation, just fact. I mean when you think about it everything he's done has literally been for himself, even the betrayal of his kind was just a means for him to gain immortality. As well he is no friend to Gwynevere's maidens and kidnaps them, possibly even drove Gwynevere out of there. He is definitely not an ally of Gwyn's any longer.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters
*Coughs* A berinike Knight is the last line of defense before Priscilla, Iron Tarkus died just outside the painting. *Coughs*
Oh sorry about that, I had something in my throat.
