Useless Wiki Trivia - Quiz! and Greatest DOT Damage Possible

I'm sure I'm not the only one who loves useless knowledge! While testing some things the thought occurred to me; What is the largest possible DOT (Damage Over Time) you can apply to yourself in the whole game? EDIT- eg- poison/toxic/powerWithin

1)Imagine that all bonfires are only linked to their nearest partners, what pair contains the highest amount of enemies on the walk between?

2)How many times does Solaire say Sun if you talk to him at every encounter?

3)If 2 chosen undead leave the Undead Asylum, undead A travels on the bird at 60mph, and Undead B leaves one hour later and travels at 85mph on the Sanctuary Guardian, how long will it take for Undead B to catch up to Undead A?

First one to buzz in gets back their humanity!

1    .Crystal Demon's Greataxe+5 Str 99 with DMB buff, for a total of 1271 ar. 504 for      Magic and 767 physical.
Oh oops, correction, add power within, red tear stone ring, dragon buff, and (assuming you can get the other players) two trident buffs.
For Damage Over Time, I would assume a Crystal+5 Bandits Knife with DMB, Power Within, RTSR and Dragon buff. Against a human player, with no defense and low bleed res.
If we allow backstabbing as well, then it easily goes to the Demon's Great Axe, but also with hornet ring.
Oh, and don't forget inflicting the highest damage Toxic and Poison first.


2.    The one in Nito's Domain, Infinitely re spawning baby skeletons.


3.   Solaire says Sun 22 times. Although also an infinite amount of times, because you could repeat some conversations over and over.


4.  3.4 hours
Although I always assumed the flight was quite short, so the guardian may never actually get ahead of the crow.


Btw, Did this in like 3-4 minutes.

Oscar of Astora is unlike most other npcs. His weapon is technically upgraded past the normal upgrade for it. What is the weapon, and what level upgrade is it?

Oh, I read about that one... It's the Astora Straight Sword, either to +7, I think, or +8.

Name the Dark Souls (not dark souls 2) Shield Design Winners, and what shield they created.

I think the Dark Souls shield design winners were the effigy shield, sanctus and the black iron greatshield. Weren't any others that I know of.

This depends on what you mean by "You"

They player can get 26 point DoT via PW, then toxic themself for 3 damage.

However with the aid of others, like NPC's, you can get an 11 point poison and 14 point toxic.

So 37+28= highest DoT is losing 65 HP a second.

1)Whoops, guess I worded me words wrongly. But I imagine that certainly is the highest DPS possible, just give the low level defender a Calamity Ring to top it off (I need to test this ring with poison now, whoops.)

2)Bingo! Infinite is the biggest number!

4) Correct! Assuming he even takes Undead B, cause he is a massive jerk face!

I took the text for his dialogue, removed all invalid instances, and did a search for the word Sun. How about as my reward, I get the thanks for this thread? I would enjoy that +3 rep.

Actually, with the edit, then you just switch it around. Instead of you having the weapon and doing the damage, you just have the invader do it to you.. Simple.
