Hacking rates going down?! WHHHAAAAAAAAA-?!!?!?!?

I've noticed a considerable decrease in the hacker frequency (Xbox) over the past few days and was wondering if you guys noticed the same thing. If so, it may be safe to come out now.

I don't know maybe they are all coming over to the PS3.

I think I've noticed an increase though. Sadly.

I'm going online right now to see if the trend continues. Hopefully people got bored of it and switched to other games.

Could be they got on due to hearing about the sequel, hacked a little, then went back to games like call of duty and such.

The only hardcore Souls fans I know of that hack only do so to create builds. I assume all the inf hp hackers are the same people that depend on youtube tutorials to hold their hand through the game.

Could be, the same people who could play it a hundred times and still die to the Tauras demon.
Then again, If I could hack, I would just do a whole bunch of crazy s*** in order to screw with people, not to win fights.

Hacking is a relatively new toy for the children on the PS3, so I guess the novelty hasn't worn off yet

I've noticed a completely different trend. Although the infinite hp hackers are still there, the majority of them have started doing "smart" hacking. Bumping their stats, but not to max. Wearing one piece of hacked armor instead of a whole set. This is still noticeable to the trained eye, and the hacker will make excuses when called out on it. (I have 85 vit....I have the steel protection ring on....etc) They haven't gone away, they're just more difficult to spot.

Aw man that sucks, hopefully they lose interest with school and focus on games they actually care about. I've been playing almost all day and still nothing.

Hey imagine that, I win more fights when there are no hackers.

The same? Although I tend to not bother with the hackers. If I spot one, I just stop fighting and stare at them if they're passive or dodge around until one of us gets bored.

Typically, I just xbox out and try again.  

Yeah, sometimes I do that when I can't be bothered with it.

No, you wouldn't have. My name on 360 is DiogenesSinope7 but I didn't make any effort to clear up who I was so of course you had no idea. I'll send it again when I can. 

If I know someones hacking, I'll find the nearest cliff and jump off.

Well. I did meet one today/yesterday. Good thing he was one of the ''good'' kind. (He did try everything he could  to murder me the first time invaded.)

Turns out my sarcastic insults got on his good sides.

Anyway, i run into them all the time on Ps3. Open up your "Book of the Guilty" and go to the very top. 

That would have been a karmic justice cast. I haven't seen any hackers for a while, just day glow hair, they will get bored and leave soon.

I think its called Ancient Burst or something like that and they use a skull lanter to cast it, most of the time when a hacker cant kill you with his 15+ Crystal Greatsword they pull that one out and spam it.

I think it's called a hack and it shouldn't be legitimized by people giving it a proper name

I am not legitimizing anything im just saying that i think that it has a name which makes identifying the hack a little bit easier, glitches are also given names to help identify them so I thought its just a standard thing and not a way of legitimizing. If I was wrong then im sorry.
