Need help with Nito SL54

Hello everyone I'm new to dark souls and im playing itnon the Ps3. This is my first play through and I'm finally stuck and need help getting to and killing Nito. I'm at the 2nd bonfire.

Most people place their signs at the first bonfire. Try returning there and see if you can summon someone. I will place sign by the second bonfire for the time being. Contact me on my PSN if you relocate.

I placed my sign by the second bonfire and got summoned by three guys. Two of them looked pretty new to the game. I hope that one of them was the OP. If not, feel free to contact me on my PSN and I'll try to help you asap.
