Fallout3 Platinum Help

I have been trying to platinum Fallout3. I'm level 30 all stats maxed. I was going over the platinum trophy list and found that I am missing "G.O.A.T Whisper". I should have it since I completed that quest in full. After some googling I found that it is apparently prone to glitching. So it must have glitched.

Question is...can I go back to an appropriate (early) save and re-do that quest then return to my latest save and still platinum the game? Also, someone suggested starting a new game and play up to completing that quest...and it will count?

If that's the only trophy your missing you should just start a new save, take the goat, then the trophy should unlock and you'd be good. As close as it is to the beginning of the game I'd say you got lucky. If any of them were to glitch that'd be a good to have to deal with because you get it in the first 10 minutes of play. Don't forget that you don't need to unlock all your trophies on the same save file. You can do it across multiple plays, so taking care of that particular trophy shouldn't be too much trouble as long as your game isn't just glitching on it over and over. Make sure you actually take the exam when you go too. There are a few different options that allow you to completely skip it, which might be what you did originally as opposed to the game glitching. You can convince the teacher to just give you a grade, and I think there might be one other option that allows you to skip it. Just make sure you actually take the exam, then wait in line and get a grade afterwards.


Of course it'd all count. Don't have to do it all on one character. Same as Dark Souls. I know I didn't unlock the two different endings with the same character.

Save your current file.  Create a new save, play through to that trophy, get it.  Trophies are account based and not exclusive to a save file, so when you reload your further ahead file you'll have platinum.

Thanks Plastic! That's a relief. Yeah, I did take the test but it seems that quest tends to glitch.

Next task is to plat NV  
And maybe getting beyond the Tower Knight in Demon Souls...I have that whole game waiting for me!! (DS bumped it)

I'm reliving the glory there and even second time (or fifth or fourth or something crazy like that) it's excellent.

I need to buy that game again. I miss it.

Whats wrong? I haven't played that yet...

the last of us multiplayer is actually easy but the risk system whatever sucks say you have 100% people at risk and you complete the mission you still loose people its rediculous

 if you have a good person or another good person your practically screwed because they take your kill and you barely have parts for food and droped food from a dead body its stupid how even though you downed the person you dont get anything and it doesnt count as your kill
