Is it still worth making a lvl 100 character?

Hey guys, I just started getting back into dark souls after not playing for a few months, and I was wondering if making a lvl 100 character is still worth it for going to the arena, or do most people still use lvl 120/125 builds and just ignore the arena. I am on Xbox 360 in case it is different for each platform. Also, are the active PvP areas still the same as before? (Burg, Township)

While it's not like you'll get to use it for arena everyday or anything. Having a sl 100 build is still valuable for random invading, and sometimes people on this forum and perhaps on twitch do events in the team dais and such. So keep a look out for them if you do end up making one.

(almost) every build can be executed with slvl100; with 99humanity@lvl100 your def. values are as high as they'll be; imo lvl120-125 are an artefakt from demons souls where it was justified with scaling stats capping @ 50 and no hp boost gear; 100 is the lvl cap for pvp imo...

I try to keep at least one build for each of these levels around. Though right now I'm highly concerned with exactly How I want to do 55... so many choices so little ability for me to decide competently

I think just having a variety of level caps is interesting. As you go lower, things are more limited, the game changes. It's fun to experience different levels of PvP occasionally.. But you gotta be aware that if you're level 55 and invading a popular pvp spot, you're more than likely to meet some SL100-120s
