The 'you' in question is the 'Sunbro' who answered my summons in Anor Londo last night (I'm sorry I'm in a bit of a rush this a.m. haven't time to check 'Players Met' on my console).

We were doing alright weren't we? Just killed the last guard and making for the fog door to Orny & Smo then the inevitable happened. We were invaded by someone using 'homing soul mass'. I screwed up big time and got in too close. Result, I was backstabbed and died. Sorry about that.

To the ******** who invaded us. Sorry I can't think of anything to say that wouldn't get me banned off this wiki.

He invaded and killed you, nothing else to say about it. If he fished for backstabs then that is probably the only thing he is capable of doing, if he didn't then just be careful more next time.

Or haul @$$ for the fog gate.

He probably invaded from right in front of the fog door, so if he does his job right the host needs to get through him to get to the boss door (I love invading from there!).

But, @Slake: you can't expect to get to summon people to help you, and not get invaded too. Can't have the pro without the con. That is all. The invader was playing an essential role in Dark Souls, which is balancing out the co-op. Can't get mad at him for that.

@Blaine Good point & yes it's so much fun to invade from there. Even if I invade from the bonfire, if the host & any phantoms are still battling the guards I'll just run up to the fog gate, stand there & wait for them.



And a proper Sunbro would have made damn sure to get BETWEEN the host and invader!!!
