Thorn Set Armor?

So to get the Thorn Set armor you have to defeat Kirk three times, right? Questions...

- Is there anyway to get him to invade in the Depths (or any of the three areas) without opening yourself up to PvP?
- If you meet Kirk and he kills you, can you get him to come back again or is it one chance to kill him at each place only?

1. Yes, play offline in human form.

2. I'm not sure. He's quite easy to kill. He fat rolls, so you can bs him at your leisure.

Yeah, he's pretty easy to beat.

I don't really have anything else to add, all questions were answered fine.
