I just recently started playing video games. Hadn't played one since the corner store had Asteroids way back when. Dark Souls is just the 4th game I've played to the point of obsession, and I've logged as many hours on it as the other 3 combined... easily.

lol I was just going down the thread looking at people's age and, at a glance, thought Rant's was 14 for a split second.

But then I saw "Reputation" and it made more sense.

There is a 60 year old on this Wiki actually. And I'm 28

and we have a 12 year old since today, my little bro...doesn't talk much though.

i kinda assumed rant and reim were older you guys always give out good comments. too often though i'll ask a ? on here and after about the third response people just start acting like everyone else has never played dark souls. It cracks me up a bit. If people are on is forum 80% of the time "said" people are usually not a noob. granted some are. but not likely. i feel like a proper age would steer clear of the tangents people put as responses.

I'm quite young and have been playing online games since I was 10 so I keep my age a secret as to avoid the discrimination. Don't like be rounded into a group.

My age is quite a mystery wrapped enigma covered by a shroud of invisibility, my Age is like the very Pygmy himself!

Hmm, age makes no difference and I am not very clear on the intent of this post and what hat tangent will really achieve.

Serious_Much is 19 and I find his comments at times much more mature and well conveyed than comments from older users, also I am 31 and I like to be a bit childish at times and have fun.

It's a complicated matter and should be addressed carefully if not at all.

From what I've seen, age =/= maturity. I know some young players that act more mature than many older gamers. It is really hard to guess someone's age by their behavior. Gotta love anonymity and alts.
