forest invaders got good??

I got steam rolled majority of the time last night by forest covenant players. Granted alot of the time it was 2v1 but damn... faced some good players. Normally i steam roll the klin.

I was there yesterday and things were the same on me. Hardly gets worse imo, so it's not all that bad news

I wouldnt call it bad, the challenge was awesome. I remeber foreset invaders being real bad at pvp. Last night had some good players. Lately klin pvp has been a joke and no challenge.

as much as i hate the kiln, it used to have some good players, now its just like the forest, you spawn and get jumped by three guys, lame.

I noticed this about a week ago when I was playing as well. I think they (we) got smart and have started leveling up. I used to invade at a much lower level. Now I invade higher and the matches seem much more balanced.

guys im talking about the actual forest covenent members that invade being good. I was hosting.

I tried to invade there buy was getting invaded so fast never did.

I've noticed that as well. I rarely ever see anyone with a drake sword anymore.

working on a str/ forest golem cosplay char... haven't picked a cov yet, should i try forest? if so any tips on power leveling so 3v1's aren't so bad?

forest cov is my main source of pvp action since I have not yet reached the kiln. I always keep my ring on and a red soapstone down and there has been some really good action there recently. I'm getting more 1vs1's than ever and even some where the host will summon a phantom for me to fight, seeing less and less gangbangs everday. but I usually black sep crystal out of those rooms if there isn't a phantom already in there

as for lagstabs and chain bs's those still happen here and there but I assume thats the same everywhere at every level

Remember Scum, their are no rules for engagement for the Forest Hunters. Anything goes, is their motive. Heh.

As a member of the forest covenant - I must admit this is the toughest covenant to be in. Constantly outnumbered, exposed to every trick in the book but I would not trade the experience for anything!!!

You get some hosts thinking the fight is going to be honorable - please!! I have been jumped by like 4 people (1 host, 3 summoned phantoms) and I don't complain - I deal with it. This is war, that is all there is to it.

Tips for forest covenant members - when its 2v2 - KEEP YOUR OPPONENT ENGAGED TO INCREASE OUR ODDS OF WINNING. If either of us kills our opponent then its 2v1 or we win. Also, know your opponents weaponry and use the right defenses; use the environment to your benefit - this will keep you alive until help arrives. REMEMBER TIME IS LIFE!!! Also, have the mindset of a US Ranger - you are dropping in knowing you will be outnumbered - fight like a crazed maniac!!!

Forest covenant members - keep your head up - its a tough gang to be in.

Really? I used to kill hosts at level 90 with katanas and ornstein sets while I was level 20 with a claymore+5. I will have to start a new character because my main account data was corrupted, so I will try to do some pvp at forest

Carphil - come on back to the front lines then - we can use the help. All types of atrocities are being committed against the covenant brothers & sisters. And the things they are doing to the trees!!!

You can really tell when another covenant member can hold their own - it is an amazing sight when the tide of battle turns against the host.

Just tried going to the forest

kicked some major ass there with my claymore guys didn't even stood a chance and i was fighting fair and i've encountered WoG spammers like 3 times but i still won

but i will admit they improved a bit at skill

I preffer to join the cov and then leave it because I love killing some hosts, I only kill other forest member when I'm red spirit

Yeah WoG is used a lot by hosts (and summoned help) in the forest - not an issue unless you get cornered or near a cliff.

All is fair in war - if they use tricks, spamming attacks, etc that cool. Its all part of the game. For every offense there is a defense, for every defense there is an offense - the mechanics of the game are fair.

One of my characters is a Forest Hunter. Next best thing to a Darkwraith. Always head to Darkroot when things get bored in other areas.

I didn't even know that was possible, I thought you could only have two friendlies max, leaving room for one invader.

or perhaps it was a glitch where one of the guys who invaded was summoned as white phantom instead?
