    Step 2: Cast Pursuers while spamming Dark bead
    Step 3: When your opponent's guard breaks, backstab.

    What if they have the silver pendant, or hidden body, or strong magic shield or vow of silence. Sorry but that is certainly not the most tryhard build I have ever seen.

    Whyd o you want to do this so badly? This build with only 3 beads and only 1 persuer and can be avoided for 10 seconds. This build would never ever work in a somewhat serious PvP match. Its just too frail to do it. Target Shield? Why? So much HP? If you're going to be spamming magic, better off with starting HP and killing people who have less opinions (as in, they have HP) or less HP (as in they have other stats).

    The vulnerability time of casting those spells would lead to a backstab. We're talking about playing dishonorably here.

    ^Pretty much this would be me. Really you are using the spam magic hide behind shield poke thing or the parry spam thing. Which means most place magic can be dodged and TWoP is not hard to stay away from and I would counter it with a spear, a heavy weapon, WoG, or I could bs fish you and just leave. This is not what I call tryhard.

    But what happens when you face a player with a Stone/Havel's Greatshield. With those shields, Dark Magic and WotG is just laughable.

    As you can tell from the general tone of the thread, you can safely assume that your build is garbo would need a serious overhaul to be effective.  Downrepping me won't change that fact.

    You aren't poise back stabbing anything with 8 vit, just accept that. I put STR at 10 so you can use Grass Crest and Crest and Dragon Crests.

    I pretty regularly play a hypermage, it's pretty easy to make without a mule as you one shot most bosses once you get some pyros.

    I will say though that bows are it's greatest weakness, and it may just be because I'm in AUS, but I very rarely win against a bow user as arrows just hit me even if I dodge them due to lag, and at <25hp a bee's fart kills me.

    Spears aren't any threat at all, in fact after bows Thorns Armour is the biggest threat.

    The only reason to go min vit is to hypermage in my opinion, if you're going for backstabs you might as well get some vit.

    Also what you're trying to do I would consider 'tryhard' (going out of your way (ie trying very hard) to be a troll and dishonourable to try and make people mad) but I wouldn't consider that build as tryhard. The playstyle yes, the build, no.

    Nope.  Not tryhard.  But, then again, I don't think any build is "tryhard".  Effective for ganking, however.

    Twop combined with placing it on spawn is the way to go if you want to be a cheesmaster.  Not my cup of tea; while no actual pvp tactic bothers me it's not fun for me to fight people who don't get a chance to do anything back.  Doing 1 thing for 90% of encounters gets boring.

    That said, it's effective.  I would recommend TWoP with dead angling wrath of gods instead of this build; you have more stat versatility, it's easier to get, and you can still stagger ---> hornet BS people thanks to unlocked dead angles + pivot BS.  While a bit harder to execute, the damage would still be completely obnoxious (especially with ring of sun's firstborn + crown for it) and it would actually work BETTER against magic resistant greatshields.

    With the extra stat points you can distribute them as you see fit or grief lower levels...whatever works.

    TWoP, dead angle WoG, backstab.  You could also dead angle WoG into the sword dance.  Nice and cheap.

    The bow is there for runners, stragglers, and pre-engage harassment.  I used the shortbow because it's light.

    If you don't want to be in the gravelord covenant, you can switch in another WoG (lots of NG+ though), emit force, or whatever else you want there (big healing would be lulzy to have on hand if doing legit route and invading).
