While most times this is fine, I carries the purp moss at the ready, the other day a toon threw something's at me and I was poisoned, then alla sudden he throws something else, I'm toxic . Yikes. Poison cured but he kept the pressure on and was unable to get the white flowered moss out. I died. What did he throw?

Arrows in this game are one of the worst I have ever seen. They are so slow, you can slowly walk to a side and they will completely miss you. Unless the guy aim manually, but not many do that and if they do, you can bet their aim sucks like your average CoD MLG noob.
Simply move to a side, they won't hit you and get close to them. Once you're close they can't shoot, cos you will melee them and they know it. End of arrows. Or just keep handy Purple Moss and chew on it for each blocked arrow. That's gonna rustle their jimmies.

Herp derp the (insert weapon/spell/item here) is so over powered because I keep getting my butt kicked by it and don't like it when that happens.
If you keep getting your butt handed to you then you need to counter it with stuff so it can't be used on you effectively. Equip stuff like poison resistant gear like tattered clothes, spider shield or just get better at PvP. Don't rely on one trick pony builds because you will get your butt handed to you by people who know how to exploit your weakness.

I was kinda only being sarcastic. I do keep running into and dieing to these bow users. One guy hit me, poisoned, I eat purp moss, while doing he hits me again, about 5 times this happens.

I dislike arrows and crossbows in this game, explicitely when gankers use them. It's very difficult to dodge 2-3 bows at a time, and it severely lacks counterplay. Bows do not work well against a non-distracted target though.

Good bow users, can pull it out, pelt you and when you move in they have their counter/melee weapons ready. Best to keep the pressure on, but most good bowsers are good at getting distance to use their fav weapon.

On a more serious note, the only way you can reliably hit someone with an arrow/bolt is if they're running away. In which case you could just bs them for 10x damage.

I think the ease at which enemies can hit you with arrows really depends on lag. This Japanese guy kept invading me some time ago, he kept missing by ~5m, but still got the hit anyway. Then someone from Europe tries using a bow on me and keeps missing because I run at him at a 10 degree angle, lol.

You were lucky. I'm used to getting hit by stuff on the other side of the Burg when I fight Japanese players.
