Dropped $30 on the InFAMOUS collection a month ago and I've barely played it for 2 hours. It just grew so old so quickly.

Has there ever been a game that even though you thought you would enjoy it and really wanted to you just couldn't?

elder scroll series, it's just bad and by bad I mean the fighting system is so bland, oblivion and skyrim sucked imo, I love melee fights and they failed miserably in that aspect. get it together Bethesda, this is not 1990.

Fable 3. Love it at first but when I decided to think deeper with it I soon found no reason to like it.
Fallout New Vegas. I wanted to SOOO bad. I heard such good things about the Fallout series and I loved the music but....it was a 75% finished game. Too many bugs and glitches for me.
Skyrim. After Oblivion I couldn't wait for the next game. Sure Oblivion had issues but it was in-depth with lore and had so much to do and it touched of my favorite medieval genre in a way I would keep playing even after I finished it. Skyrim fixed some issues but lost that replay value for me and used dragons and the whole Norse myths way too much for me to enjoy. When I was done with everything I really was done.

Fable 2 & 3. Fable TLC is my favourite game, and i really hoped for another game to live up to the name. 2 and 3 wasn't bad, but it wasn't what i wanted either. Fable 2 lacked in some ways, but they fixed that in Fable 3, but instead decided to do some new stupid sh*t. Fable 3 had more potential than 2, if you ask me, but they f*cked it up.
There's also the As$' Creed series. I love playing sneaky and as an assassin, but those games are just horrible, overrated piece of thrash.

Skyrim.
When I first got it, I thought it was really cool.
Once I had entered a dungeon, and came out after killing my 50th Draugr Overlord, I was like "This game is good...right?"
Eventually I got sick of the monotonous gameplay and never played it again.

Had there been random travel attacks or somewhere where I could still fight people or things I would have played it more.skarekrow13 wrote:Dragon Age

Dragon age did know how to use magic right something I found lacking in Skyrim.

Magic is pretty awful in Skyrim for sure. I still have to beat that too

Alduin is so freaking easy it is sad. In Oblivion I got stuck in the save Bruma city part. I swam in the freaking lava as a Argonian Vampire to get to the Daedic tower! That was awesome!

Alduin fight in a nutshell:
1. Use Dragonrend
2. Wait for it to recharge
3. Repeat steps 1-2

Fallout 3 got dull quickly for me. I still played quite a bit of it but it wore out and I never played it again.
The same kind of goes with Dragon Age, except I can pick it up and play it every once and a while, I just get bored after playing it for too long. I really wish I didn't.
Also, I know I'm going to draw some hate for this, but Demon's Souls has the same problem as Dragon Age for me. I can play it for a while but I can never get as into it as I did with Dark Souls. I forced myself through hours of playing but I just couldn't get into it like I have with Dark Souls.
I can't play Skyrim anymore either. Ever since I hit platinum I haven't really been able to pick it back up again. I just look at it and think about playing it only to have my interest picked up by something else seconds later.

Playing a TES game for the combat is like playing Dark Souls for the roleplaying.RantFromRant wrote:elder scroll series, it's just bad and by bad I mean the fighting system is so bland, oblivion and skyrim sucked imo, I love melee fights and they failed miserably in that aspect. get it together Bethesda, this is not 1990.

The Elder Scrolls, sub-par graphics, sub-par gameplay, sub-par storyline(skyrim), sub-par UI, and glitches, glitches, glitches
These pretty much ruin the immersion for me
Also, Assassin's Creed 3, "more resilient enemies" kick into water, or shoot, or jump attack for insta kill

Sniper: Ghost Warrior. I would love nothing more than to play as a sniper. And the concept for that game was great, but the actual game? Worst game i've ever played! Had the worst ending too. There was nothing rewarding about that game at all.

Far Cry 3....
First of all it is a great game, I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10, it is however overhyped and overrated.
First of all it's too easy even on hard mode, I had to put a mod to make it harder.
Second if you conquered all outposts when this was first released, all enemies would disappear.
Also story was dumb as ***, you could've easily thought of a better one with more madness in it, I also thought the whole Vaas fight was fake and that Vaas was still alive, BUT noooo, he's dead, developer confirmed it.

Origins was a good game. 2 was horrible - I despised what they had done to the game.
