First FC Tournament!

imagine doing the grant r2 attack in there? how is the range of that thing? i havent tested it.

Uh, going off memory... somewhere around 60-80% if you did it in the middle. I don't believe it has increased range but I could be terribly wrong.

Meri has used it against me in FC, it was no problems to avoid.

I'd like to join in on the tournament as well. I can also host if required. PSN is Grey-Ronin.

Do we buff before bowing to the host or after? I know I'm nitpicking but it's good to know all the rules of a competition before getting involved.

you bow than buff, special weapon abilities are allowed then.

Since accidental BS will happen, if anyone needs Humanity, let me know.

What about buffs though? If I accidentally BS someone, their buff may run out.

its up to you two to decide to either keep going or redo the match and recharge.

Ok. For a tourney, I would prefer to redo. For regular gameplay, I would just deal with it.

not sure since there hasnt been a lot of people applying for the tourney

So the Fights are not over in the blink of an eye, we should have two sets of brackets, one for 1v1 and another for 1v1v1 where the host participates as well. Two Tournament Champions are crowned (kinda like tennis where there is a singles and doubles tournament). Just my two cents.

12 makes for weird bracket short of doing one big one.

Also, have u guys thought about certain weapons that are going to benefit greatly from the no backstab rule? I dislike backstabbing as much as the next guy, but if ur opponent misses a roll attack with a club or something and gives you his back, i dont see anything wrong with taking it. Just my opinion. Either way still looking forward to this tourney.

why not? i know you said you have a pure mage but is that all you have? im sure you have a spellsword or some other build that doesnt rely on magic.

a casters only tourney would be cool too. pyromancy and sorcery (and maby 1 guy who think lightning spear will ever hit.) might ban wog though, doesn't take skill to flatten someone, gravelord sword thing-insta kill.

I like this idea. What may be a nice addition is that the next big event be anything goes, but no fishing for backstabs. I think we would see some individuals do great with this. I will have to get a different weapon than the GC or I will be destroyed. We would also need to find a bigger area, but this would not limit the magic users. Wog might seem a little OP, but as long as it is not spammed it would still be usable.

This could be fun.

The no BS rule would greatly benefit larger, slower, powerful weapons with a lag period after swings. But, then again, a dex build with good timing and distancing will also slaughter big weapons. So, it's all good.

I ll try to make it because its in my timezone starts at 3.30 am. Maybe for an hour or something
