World 5-2 Help (RESOLVED)

I'm at work at the moment but will be online around 7pm GMT and I'm looking for some help with Valley of Defilement. In particular to kill black phantom Selene for Blind and through to the boss if possible...

I won't be able to directly help you, but a bow will be a nice friend in that fight if all you want is the weapon. If you want a thrill ride then by all means attack her head on.

@skare: got the lavabow... I could try pumping her full of arrows but she closes in on you too... This is the first black phantom in the swamp you encounter before the first fog gate... I'm pretty sure i killed Selene in my firsat playthrough - its the one before her.. The Meat Cleaver Black Phantom! doh!

Oh crap, that one. I don't remember if there's a cheese method but you can block that one. Help would be nice though. That phantom wrecked me a bunch of times.

@Rob: I'm only gonna be online this evening from 11ish. Working at a function in the Australian Embassay tonight. I'll PM you once I'm online if you are still keen to give Selene a good kicking. I realised I wasn't in PBWT which is why we couldnt see the little harpie!

No problem, if you wanna coop some more let me know, I've been staying off line when playing DeS been farming for pure bladestone, but I have now.

Rob that is the only thing that is annoying me - playing online and losing your tendancy when you've sacrificed Emepheral eyes... I've also been playing offline now because I only need to farm for chunks of everything... I went pure black tendancy in 5-2 and picked up some great chunks, then in 4-3 - needed Cloudstone. Typically I died twice forgetting to change weapons, went back to the nexus for them and returned, forgetting that those deaths cause WT to sbhift

Yeah it is annoying, you know you can dupe items?

Yeah but I havent gone down that route for my platinum trophy in DkS and I dont want start
