For me it's no contest. Capra has made mincemeat of me literally hundreds of times. After that it is probably Quellagg. In the dlc probably the sanctuary guardian.

On my first playthrough, Queelag. I had a unupgraded halberd and of couse, I wasn't 2handing the damn thing and it turned into a 30 minutes fight where the last 10 minutes, I had no estus. Ever since then, she's the easiest boss for me since I spent quite a couple of hours trying to beat her...hell I even wasted all of my humanity in order to summon Mildred but in the end, I got it done solo^^

The Bed of Chaos.
I sucked at fighting bosses on my first playthrough, but now I can beat every boss with no problem, except for the Bed of Chaos.
It's the one thing that stops me every time.

Use the Crest Shield and it's an easy boss. Just block what you know you can't dodge, and attack it's pooper a lot.

Probably have to say Sanctuary Guardian, since the first time I've faced him was with my lv 15 and I absolutely wanted the tail weapon. So I did a lot of solo over and over. Could have beg for help, but I kind of wanted a bit of an achievement. The rest are usual.

I would say my most common death is to Torch Zombie, those things will just destroy you.
Either that or Capra Demon, I could go through a deathless playthrough then decide to do some cleanup before Gwyn then die at Capra.

I have never been killed by a Torch Zombie.
The Four Kings usually give me trouble if they don't fight one on one.

Bed of Chaos dont really count unless you are actually dying to the mechanics and not the stupid jump. I'd say the most troublesome for me was Gwyn on the first playthrough. Other than that the only boss I haven't been able to beat is Kalameet, but that's more player error than mechanics, I make stupid mistakes.

I've played through the game a couple times before, I'm just cautious around them.

Most people here have beaten this game 600+ times.
I beat the game on a new run every other day.

Why must you argue everything I say? Obviously, its my opinion. I was also speaking satisfaction, a sense of achievement, not the actual "physical" reward.
Its not like there are specific pattens to learn or anything, to reward observation and patience, it just requires essentially mistake free, frame perfect dodging the entire time, as any 1 hit likely sends you falling to your death.

You expect me to play through the game that many times? I don't even make it to the Taurus Demon on most runs.Dibsville wrote:Heh, a couple times.Latitoast wrote:I've played through the game a couple times before, I'm just cautious around them.

I'm not arguing with you, I'm stating my opinion compared to your opinion. I respect your opinion, and I know you make good points and can talk from experience. I can also talk from experience. Just because I'm stating my opinion doesn't mean I'm arguing with you, I'm simply stating why I disagree with what you're saying. I have nothing against you nor your opinion, I'm simply stating mine. Even right now, in this very post, I'm stating my opinion that I'm not arguing with you. I'm sorry if I came off wrong and you thought I was, but in reality I was simply digging for more information as I know I may be wrong. I know Bed is an annoying boss. I know the death-reward ratio is not good on it. I'm simply trying to be optimistic about one of the most annoying bosses in the game. I don't want people running off from Dark Souls because of a boss, so I tried to change your opinion by saying my own. Again, I'm sorry for coming off wrong.Forum Pirate wrote:Why must you argue everything I say? Obviously, its my opinion.
