I'm really disapointed with mortal kombat, the lag is worse than in DkS. Online is horrible, 90% of the people you will fight will play as Smoke or Cyrax and do a 80% damage combo, then just kick you and win the round. Is really ridiculous right now.

When I bought, it was very fun because no one really knew how to play, but now, oh crap.

You play beat em up's for online... seriously?

Any lag AT ALL would make online unplayable, so i dont think they'd be very good as an online medium..

also, i'm not one to judge them on online play, more on content in the game. If they can find a good way to add in lots of interesting and fun things to do I get way more impressed with them than adding in online play, lol

Can't say I play alot of fighting games, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is pretty much it.

Aw yeah, Super Smash Bros, used to play that competitively, as weird as that sounds.

You can barely call smash bros a fighting game, though it's great.

I actually went on a win streak at Fight Club before I left from exhaustion, I actually feel epic lol

I've watched a couple of players on youtube before, some of the stuff they pull is impressive (super smash bros brawl)

It's probably horribly outdated since it was one of the first videos made by a pro for the character, but this was a big inspiration for my Brawl "career"

wow, that instantly makes it less cool. The original is my favourite but Melee was the one boys

Then again if you wanna talk about unbeatable me and Double Dash My friends I know beat all the dev's ghosts times and i still beat them xD

Bah, Mario Kart dev ghosts are for weenies, you want a real hardcore challenge go unlock T.T. in the N64 Diddy Kong Racing (not the DS one, the DS version was dumbed down for dummies so they could play a dumb version of the game). You had to not only beat the staff ghosts, but beat them by a certain margin to unlock T.T.'s ghost, and then you had to beat T.T.'s ghost for every track in the game

Augh, up to 70 or so titanite chunks and still no slab from farming darkwraiths :x. Curses! I didn't even get a humanity after I helped a host beat the 4 kings......

I have TT's ghost, he's the reason I can never touch that game again.

Brawl actually was pretty great for competition, but you had to put in a lot of strict rules to keep things balanced and even then there were issues. Melee was a lot better for competition, but I enjoyed Brawl more. Wave dashing was fun in melee, but I rather liked parry air battles in brawl haha.

Yes, I did play Brawl competitivly for a short time. Participated in a few brackets as well.

The music is awful, but for some reason, the first third of that video I have always really enjoyed.

I also got his ghost, but I ended up getting so used to using Pipsy and Drumstick while unlocking him that I never used him lol

And I'm glad the American Brawl scene finally banned Meta Knight. If I still had a working GC controller I would probably get back into the Brawl scene lol.

Ban Meta Knight? I was never around for that, I loved reverse air falcon punching those metal balls off the stage haha.

It was real recent actually. I think the ban was announced in the middle of last year, but didn't go into affect until March of this year.

Ah, if only my Brawl CD wasn't missing! I might actually buy another one, I can't count how much enjoyment I've gotten out of that game. I've probably logged over 600 hours into it.

Should I put Mildred's Lost Sack into the next poll? Its 1 vote behind the top 2 but also only 1 vote ahead of a bunch of others...

That's lame, Meta Knight is my favorite. I do believe the powerhouses are are Meta and Snake, and I hear and have seen Dedede being able to counter just about everyone if you know what to do.

DDD's tilt attacks are monsters, though yes snake is pretty much the best character in the game. He has the fastest strongest attacks, is relatively quick moving, and is actually the heaviest character in the game so he is hard to throw around, yet he falls slowly. He kind of has the best of all worlds. His Tilt attacks are probably the best in the game as well.

Meta knight can be annoying, but if you know how to counter his attacks with your own he really isn't overpowered. Tilts man, it's how you tell the men from the boys haha.
