Uh that's really just a gimmick, not like a solid strategy or anything that you'd want to make a mainstay of your PvP repertoire.

If I host, the guy is forced to 1v1, unless it's in forest, or I'm Gravelording, meaning I control the fight, which I like, as it secures that I don;t have to put up with the forementioned scenarios when I invade.
If the invader tries to pull some nonesense at me, I'll just sign out from PSN, which is faster and more plausible to me than using Black Crystal. Using BC is like saying I'm coward, but pulling the plug on invader is like saying "I ain't got time for your son!" IMO.

I've done over 1,000 invasions and jumpers are not common (those who wait by summon spots to kill you). As for ganking and healing, of course they are going to do that. You are invading their world. They are questing. They will, and should, do everything they can to kill you. That is the fun.

Invading is not duelling. You can't invade with that mindset. Broaden your horizons. Learn to think on your feet. Learn to know where 3 people are at one time and how to manipulate it. I tell you, beating 3 people at once is a great feeling.

I had jumpers quite a lot.
The usual high Poise guys with GT waiting on your spawn spamming R1 even beofre you get to move, so you get Bleed as soon as possible, or casting Hyper Fire Tempest.

Anyway, you misunderstood me on the invading. I didn't mean that the stuff people do, like healing and ganking is dishonourable, or they shouldn't do it etc. They can do whatever they want. I only meant that it's annoying to deal with. That's all.

I've been invading a lot more lately and I've learned so much from all the things I used to find annoying. Fishers are dead simple to pivot or counter BS, I've learned to attack less predictably so I barely get parried by randoms, and randoms with big weapons who actually don't fish(2% of strength weapon users I've come across) are dead simple to parry.

Fishers are good to practice pivot or counter with. Once I understand what a mammi roll is I might decide to practice that on them as well.

I'm always attacking, not even SL120 yet, I'm sat on 40str, 40end, 35 vit (will be going to 40) and have 30 Faith, I've just logged off so I can't remember what level I am

Using the full set of +5 Black Iron armour and a +15 Demon Great Machete that has an AR of 655 but will soon be using the +5 Chaos Great Club which has an AR of 768. Only problem with this build is you've gotta be patient or you can screw up badly, otherwise it's pretty deadly

Every time I invade (using the Red eye orb you get from the Covenant at Rank 1) the host seems to have someone summoned resulting in a 2v1 (which I have won a few times now which is quite funny) 2v1 is so lame though.

Fire, Chaos, Lightning, and Magic weapons all get split AR's. The attacks have to go through two of the opponent's defenses. Therefore, a weapon that does pure physical or pure magic damage will normally be better.

Remember that it's split AR though, Chaos means you have lower phys AR and added fire AR. +15 means 500-600 pure, lean, mean phys AR.

Total AR isn't everything. With the way defenses work in this game, you'll typically do less damage against most opponents because split is working against two defenses, just as a heads up. Plus Elementals were nerfed anyways, your total AR is actually gonna be 705. Having a lot of AR in one damage type is much better than having a slightly bigger AR in two damage types.Basically, don't go elemental unless your weapon doesn't really benefit from your stats.

+15 will almost always outdamage any other upgrade path (with proper stats). And, they can be buffed. This is not counting Crystal weapons since, for the most part, are impractical for chronic PvP action.

Especially with the Btown clubs, their AR is absurd at +15 and base stats. I carry a Great Club on my 28/40 build just because.

PW CMW Dragonhornet Great Clubs = #1 don't even try to beat it.
