New Character Customization?

I would really love to see character customization improved in Dark Souls 2. One thing I felt a lack in was hair options. There simply was not enough, in my opinion. Another thing that was extremely hard to do was making your character looking good. We could also use a better facial hair system.

What do you think From could do to improve character customization?

Add individual body part sizing. MMO's do it all the time, but the main drawback would be that all the pervs would have skinny chicks with large "Amazing Chest Aheads"

what i think they should do is if they stick with the same large upper body or big head is have them affect your play liek maybe if you make your character real fat they move slower but are harder to knock down or somthing like that and super slim characters are real fast but can be sent flying easy if hit directly

I agree. They should add beards.

I read an artical that said Dark Souls was going to have better character customization, and another artical that said Skyrim was going to add beards. I though Dark Souls would get beards too. Obviously I was wrong.

Definitely more hair options. Demon's Souls hairstyles looked a lot more acceptable compared to Dark Souls.

Perhaps a system where you can craft your own hairstyle? It's a bit of a stretch by that would be nice.

Elder Scrolls lets you change the length of each hairstyle.

We need BEARDS.

I think they need to take a page from their own book honestly. Armored Core color changing options. Black Iron Armor? More like PURPLE IRON ARMOR!!

There are beards in Dark Souls. Needs improved though.

I hope we can choose between skins. Once you equip a piece of armor, you can use that skin regardless of what you're actually wearing. The only restriction should be you can't wear the Black Leather Armor and use Havel's chest piece skin. It should be restricted to armor class.

I do not think the "body type" should change you're characters movement style.

it would be great to see an option for beards and an option to change the length of your toon's hair. tattoos would be cool as well.

Beards are accessed via the color settings. Just gotta color the peices

ALmost, check out the "jawline" or "Jaw" or "chin" or whateverthehell its called, but it is there.

It's so clear, so lucid now...The lack of facial hair is the curse of the Undead of course. No Undead can,or ever will have a beard. Gwyn? Beard. Andre? Beard. Why? Because they're not Undead.

Also, the Chosen Undead is the only one that can have something that remotely looks like a beard, hence why he is the Chosen. Iron Tarkus probably can grow a beard because he's so freaking bad *** but we'll never know.

More hair options would be fine by me.
Currently I do the same thing on every single build.
Male= Short- Dark Brown
Female= Ponytail A- Dark/Light brown, depending on what I feel is better.

i want better facial styles the only ones i find any good are male- astora noble and female -far east traveler (this one isnt great at default i just make her skin a little paler and it looks better cuz she seems to have a bunch of wrinkles if you dont)

Facial Defaults need work, but more presets for each default would be nice.
