Hear me out on this. As you all probably know, I've been working on a powerhouse build focused on strength and miracles, which I chose to call The sun's firstborn. But as I played on, I felt... not so godly. My character dons shining armor, golden and brass. But is he worthy of it? He goes around, killing so many undead, creatures... 'monsters', as we so call them. Quelaag? she was only protecting her sister. Ornstein and Smough? Just hanging on to the only thing that brought them closure, which they perhaps knew was only an illusion, but it was an illusion that brought them peace of mind.

And so, because of this... I have decided that my knight in shining armor needs this armor no longer... He is not a god, he is not a legend, he is nothing more than a man on a journey. To link the flame? No. The people need not comfort, but change. The people need someone who will watch over them, protect them from the horrors that could come upon them. they need a king who is willing to die by an enemy's sword to protect them. If they choose to call him a Dark Lord? So be it. He is nothing short of it, if you look at what he's done.

But he is also merciful. He slayed Nito, the first of the dead, who led a pack of madmen that inflicted pain upon others so that he could judge them in death and bring himself more power. He slayed Seathe, the Scaleless, a dragon who went mad with research and terrorized young maidens, bringing them the fear of becoming his experiments. He gave the Bed of Chaos ease of mind, bringing peace to her and her sisters and brother, for their pain was no more. He put an end to the horror known as the Four Kings, who's greed brought the Abyss upon their people, and who inherited the horrid art of life drain.

He even went back in time to halt the spread of the abyss, killing Manus, the primeval human from whom the Abyss originated, and on his road to doing so, put Artorias out of his misery, lifting a heavy pain from the shoulders of his fellow knights.

There is good and evil in all of the chosen undead. It is what you do with that power that shows who you really are.

What do you choose to do with your power? As a Dark Lord, I choose to hunt down the guilty, making them pay the price for their sins, waiting for the day a Blade of Darkmoon comes to make me pay for mine.

The NPC that matches myself most closely is Mr. Lautrec the Ganker. I'll drop my summon sign for some jolly cooperation but always end up killing the Firekeepers for their souls.

Kill gankers even more. I only get the chance to kill gankers outside of the forest at lower levels, and then, my power is not so good. I wish to bring righteous justice upon those needlessly killing people looking for a good time.

Eh, my Sunbro manages to do pretty well keeping others alive and saving people's asses. She's no powerhouse by any means but the host gets a dead boss one way or another.

As for your character not being as glorious as you wish... well, Lordran was once glorious. Look at it now! That is the illusion of the Age of Fire.
