Hey guys, I'm doing something of a challenge run on Dark Souls, with effort, I've managed to skip all of the bosses so far (Asylum demon, there is no way around him, so he doesn't count), but I'll need help with later ones, and I can't get some of the embers either. I've managed to get to lower undead burg without beating the Bell Gargoyles. I'm going to try and skip Sif also, but I'm not sure if thats possible.

The Gargoyles have to beaten to ring the first bell, which is required to open Sen's Fortress. Quelagg has to be beaten to ring the second bell, which is require to open Sen's Fortress. The Iron Golem has to be beaten to enter Anor Londo. Ornstein and Smough have to be beaten to acquire the Lordvessal which is required to open the Kiln of the First Flame. Sif has to be beaten to acquire the Covenant of Artorias, which is required to defeat the Four Kings, which is required to open the Kiln of the First Flame. Nito, the Bed of Chaos and Seath all have to be beaten to open the Kiln of the First Flame. Gwyn has to beaten so you can either burn youself alive indefinitely or spread the Abyss across the entire world and beat the game.

Re: Minimal boss Run
Only legit skippable ones are Taurus (Masterkey), Capra, Moonlight Butterfly, Gaping Dragon, Firesage and Centipede (Izalith shortcut), and Priscy and Gwyndolin of course.

Re: Minimal boss Run
Ahhhh my bossless streak has come to an end then. One question though. If I summoned phantoms with the Covant, couldn't they go down and kick the four king's asses, or do I need to go down there to trigger them?

Or a ball, to be precise. Those kings sure know how to throw a party.

Heh, well I've managed to make my way to level 42, and I'm trying to take on new Anor Londo, but with my....equipment restrictions, this could be pretty tough.

Re: Minimal boss Run
Well, my weapons are quickly becoming useless....so I'll humbly ask of the community to help get better weapons. I need weapons that scale well with Dex, like the Balder Slide Sword, or a curved blade. ^^; I won't ask much, since I can't take them up their normal upgrade paths.
