Dark Souls PC Bug (Help)?

Looks like a texture loading error. If you were messing with mods I wouldn't be surprised that it happened if not reloading the game should fix it. Though it really shouldn't effect your game at all.

I had a glitch on PC version where I just fall through the level, die, spawn at bonfire and repeat forever after messing with the dsfix ini file. I reversed what I had changed and it fixed the problem. Apart from it being that then I'm not too sure... Maybe look for newer graphics drivers?

Out of curiosity, did you re-enable the game's FPS cap, or just leave it unlocked and set your own cap to 30? I find that the latter option works just as well, but increases my performance strangely.

I think I changed it in the ini file back to 30, runs fine though.

Hi guys, i´m a german player and i have the following problem: I have buy the game dark souls prepare to die yesterday per steam account. I install the game, click on new game and the error came: dark souls executable stopped working. I have google it and the problem are famous. I do a lot of things to fix it, but the error stay there. I re-install the game, put a fix in the game folder, repair the game on steam. I have Windows 7, an intel core i5 quad 2,67ghz, nvidia geforce 9800gtx+ and 4Gb main memory. Can anyone help me pls?

your system should easily be capable to run the game - dark souls isn't that demanding....
about the problem: your description isn't that precise, is it similar to the one mentionend here:

what error is mentioned in the windows message?
what "fix" did u use? is it dsfix? basically dsfix is a great mod, but i would try to get the game running without it first.....

your link is not my problem, yes i put the dsfix on it but it doesn´t work. the error in the windows message is: Dark Souls prepare to die executable doesn´t work. the message is only on german language.
