Re: The most annoying build
Eh, the best I could come up with is a simple BS OHKO build. It has enough poise to get past Dex weapons, and has fast-roll to dodge past the slower ones.
It shouldn't be too hard to land a single BS, since most spammers, fishers and hackers tend to suck at PvP.

armor and anything else is up to you
hyper pyro, fun to use, I reserve this sort of build for forest gank hunting.
Great combustion will 2-3 shot most people when you need to, but the variety in spells is fun to use.

Re: The most annoying build
Added some things to it. With this you could probably kill some people by rushing them. The ring of fog is to make you harder to track, since you will be backstabbing and shooting off stuff. And the spells would end a person in half a second.Anchises wrote:http://mmdks.com/23bw

Re: The most annoying build
You don't need to OHKO them you just need to think faster and smarter.

This is basically the most successful build I use in pvp. It does well in situations where you get ganked and in situations where you want to have a good fight.
You can drop the pyromancy and the bellowing dragoncrest ring to use the fog ring. People may talk it down but it really works and for some reason when I use it, even if they see me right away they still have a hard time fighting me idk.
You can wear armor too and use havels ring to stack some extra poise on, or just use the wolf ring. You can also switch out the rapier for any dex weapon, I just enjoy the rapiers. With a bit of intelligence invested in you can be classy as hell and use velka's rapier.
Be sure to always have a ton of dung pies on you. They're awesome. Unless you have very little poison resistance.
Lastly I like the whip in the offhand because its a whip but you can use anything else really. I prefer to have something that can parry because lets face it if you get stuck hiding behind your shield you're going to die. Might as well die in style trying to parry them. And sometimes you'll get lucky and blind parry their first strike and look badass.

Re: The most annoying build
One thing I heard which is really true and pure wisdom is: "When you are getting beaten by something and can't find it's weakness, start using it yourself, you'll soon find plenty of weaknesses.

Re: The most annoying build
There's basically 4 kinds of "gankers" and most share the same weakness.
First one isn't a ganker at all. Its someone with a few phantoms trying to beat the level. Rare in the forest type situation.
Second is the guy and his buddy(ies) having some fun. These are the guys who will toy with you. They'll rarely just kill you. If you don't play along, don't chase ect they're going to get angry and start making mistakes. Some tell tales of this type of "ganker" are items being dropped for you. Host and multiple phantoms usually reds and whites in the forest. They'll never attack you right away. One may use a bow while the other "fights" you.
Third is the "professional". This person has a system for farming invaders and is very good at it. If you figure out their method and foil it you're likely to throw them off their game and win the match.
Last is the "winner". This person will hack cheat gank whatever. They just care about winning. The best way to beat them is to not let them win. I find with these kinds of players that if you're about to die killing yourself with piss them off quite a bit. When you encounter them again their likely to be angry and make mistakes. I've had hosts use for/wog to keep me away from the edge of a level when I'm near death and have no hope of winning.
Aside from the first kind of ganker they basically all have the same weakness. once you ruin their strategy or plan you've one. It may not be an actual win but when you encounter them again the psychological effect you'll have on them will give you an advantage. Even against hackers its not about being able to ohko them its just about frustrating them and outsmarting them. Someone may have infinite health but they're not immune to a kick or force. You may be facing 3 enemies but if you can separate them its a few back stabs or a parry and you can take them out one by one.

Re: The most annoying build
If you need to one shot people then just use thisbuild, it will one shot pretty much anything if it hits them once.
You could try the tested sunlight blade falchion combination but that has counters.

You would need a ridiculous amount of skill to acquire that many gravelord Greatsword miracles

Um...I don't think glass cannons are the way to go if you're looking for a build that will give you the highest chance of winnings against those people.. That's assuming that that's what you were going for of course.
