Upgrage Help

I just don't like lightning weapons because they sound annoying.

the whole bzztt thing is bull **** and i dont like how many people use lightning weaps

FROM even had the audacity to leave out a visible Skeleton when you get hit. I want to see bones damnit!

what mildred said, light uchi op? lol i think ive only been kiled by one like three times. i can give you mine that +10 but make it chaos, its better but yo need 10 humanity to get the most of it.

Chaos beats all Elemental. sooo...yeah.

So, if anyone would be willing, I would be very grateful for a lightning ready or lightning 1 uchigat /Iaito.

I say someone just give him a Uchi +6 so it's not making everything piss easy for him.

Fact. Lightning is weaker than +15 so you are weaker than my +15 uchi if you use a lightning 1.

Some of it depends on the armor you are hitting (how much lightning defense they have). My Lightning Zwei beats my +15, but only by a small bit (so armor may change that). I really should damage test a Chaos Zwei with 10 humanity.

But, yeah, lightning Uchi is not really overpowered, IMO, (unless you are at a low level). As long as you have more than 31 poise, they really can't stunlock you.

How do we do this? I may need some time to gather the resources required for the trade. Also, what is op?

means overpowered, a word that tends to be bandied around quite a bit on here.

Well, if I get a plus 6, can I still upgrade to lightning from there? I'm not trying to make this an easy game. I have all the resources to make an uchigat lightning 1 right now, just not the blacksmith who can get me from +5 to +10

yeah, you only need blacksmith to move it from +5 to +6 thats why im suggesting this.

also giving you a highly upgraded weapon would also make your game too easy, and on your first playthrough it would be a shame if that happened.

Yeah the Blacksmith only ascends weapons from +5-+6 then it can be upgraded anywhere. (same for everything else, ie, you don't need the Giant Blacksmith for upping your Lightning Uchi to 1-2, 2-3 etc)

Nothing in the game is OP. . . . except a Sack +10, it would appear.

My personal reservations about lightning weapons are the silly sound that they make and that they are poor for variety and skill development. I could get the minimum stats to wield an Uchi, turn it lightning and then dump all the rest into Vit/End . . . . which bores me to tears.
I have a special load up just for people I suspect to be using lightning weapons and it wins just about every time I'm correct in the assumption.

Experiment with everything, but playing with class and style is more important than winning - in this Gentleman's humble view.

But quite about the sack or "they" will nerf it.

Who needs lightning weapons, when you can get Sunlight Blade. My Demon Great Hammer does over a 1000 damage as + 15 (650 Dmg) plus Sunlight Blade (400 Dmg). Better than Lightning Anything. Boo Ya.

Edit: meant sunlight blade. Every time I say sunlight spear, and I don't even use the damn thing, cause I'm part of the Princess' Guard.

I heard the next patch reduces everything to one hit point of damage after fully upgrading the weapon while spells and miracles cause you and the other player to 'high five' each other when cast.

But the DWGR is staying the same.

That sounds still OP. They need to make all weapons Heal you! And bows shoot Nerf Arrows. Maybe spells give Hugs too, but that is still risky.
