The other cure can be the Daedric quests. Always a good time helping the evil princes for loot.

Re: Random Off-Topic
I'm very similar in that regard. As I've lost more and more video game time I've grown to accept that I don't need to explore every dungeon. Oblivion helped me with that addiction a good deal. The scope is just crazy. I've also been fortunate but Oblivion was mostly error free for me (except for the occasional gravity defying paintbrush and dupe glitch). Skyrim has frozen a few times on me but I haven't had any issues like the horror stories I've heard. The cure for getting run ragged in either game for me was remembering that there is a story line. I had been in the ho hum doldrums myself until I picked up the story again. I was 50/50 on taking a Skyrim break and catching up on my PS+ list. While they're not the best (but they are pretty good) stories the dungeons and enemies for the main quest line often are done in different ways or larger and grander. Blackreach is a good example. I've done lots of Dwemer ruins and countless pits in the ground but the details in Blackreach....WOW! Definitely made me very enthusiastic to pick it up again.

Well I managed to unleash hell. That geometry grade sparked a lot of tensions with my mother and it's either going to get worse or die slowly. Though it's going to be awhile since it did not help that the absolute worst part of my personality kicked in.
About Blackreach. Man that place was so huge, and was the only place that made me afraid to be alone! I'm really glad I completed the darkbrotherhood quest line for the summon ghost. My only complaint is that I went in as a vampire and I was affected by the sun, which is weird since I saw no way that natural sunlight can get in.

Yeah, I don't really remember Oblivion being all that bad bug wise, but Skyrim got unbearable for me after awhile. Almost every time I left an area, that required a load screen, the game froze. That was before I figured out that the problem was the auto-saving feature though. I've sorta been doing the same thing though, just picking it up sporadically for short stints then putting it back down. Haven't revisited in awhile though.

Blackreach is hands-down TES V: Skyrim's crowning achievement. Place is awe-inspiring. I agree about the bugs though, when a bug glitches your main quest and you can't beat the game because of it....man, it's infuriating.
Interesting side-note about Blackreach: Did you know there's actually a dragon you can fight inside there?

In that citadel with the forsworn followers there is a giant glowing orb that if you use force the dragon will summon to fight you.Vinyl Scratch wrote:Whaaaaaat?WhatDoesThePendantDo? wrote:Interesting side-note about Blackreach: Did you know there's actually a dragon you can fight inside there?

I always felt bad for Wile E. Coyote until I realized he could probably just order food instead of spending all that money on gadgets

Or that Acme isn't a reputable company. We all know the old saying, "fool me once, shame on you. Fool me624 times, shame on me."

Not in my opinion, though there actual guidelines which would tell you definitively if it is or it isn't. Though I don't know where that's found... :suspect:
