Ehehe~ I'm actually really worried that someone will get it, or I'll give the answer, and nobody will thing it makes sense...

I thought it was too easy when I wrote it... but then I guess that just shows that people think in different ways lol. Or that it's easy when you already know the answer...

This is a tough one...

It's not any status affects, it's not abyss-walking... wait.. Is this about the Abyss overtaking Oolacile?

The sudden shock and loss was the spreading darkness that consumed much of the land around Oolacile. The Convenant of Artorius could have stopped it, and when you encounter the Abyss it is very much like falling forever (Unless the final line is a metaphor for the fall of the city itself).

What does that have to do with a ring.

We've exhausted the need for practical reasoning. I figured the bit about the ring is only a distraction from the problem.

Edit: You know... I just realized the Covenant of Artorius is totally a ring..

Killing Gwynevere then getting invaded by the Darkmoon Blades.

The "ring" is the only thing I'm not sure, unless by putting on the DMC ring makes you invulnerable to DM invasions?

Maybe it has something to do with the cat covenant?

Thats why I said I was going out on a limb.
The only thing that doesn't fit is the "ring"
trial fits because it's a process and the last one fits because you drop SoR when you get killed from a DM invader.

I was hoping that when you equip the DM ring that you couldnt get invaded by them, but I really doubted that that was true.

PS: I have it open in another page in view all the time
