Do you care how your character looks? If so then why? Is their any symbolism behind your fashion choice, or do you just want to look cool? And would you ever give up functionality for punctuality?

Of course. Functionality matters, but I can't stand looking hideous.

Anyway... Yes, it matters to me. Mostly it's just about looking cool for me(waist cloths or running around naked aren't cool, regardless of how skilled you are). I'll generally also try and wear more "evil" looking armors when I'm invading, and more heroic looking armors when I'm co-oping.

Also: Skirts aren't badass, regardless of what people say!

Heck yes. Looking cool tops stats for sure. I want to look awesome for when I win or die. Always have to dress to be prepared for either.

looks before stats! i love ciarin's set. i used to use the gold-hemmed set minus the shirt for my guys, i hate how the shirt makes the outfit look. it's also why i rarely, if ever, use heavy armor lol.

I care about the way I look I just try to make it so my appearance doesn't affect my stats in a negative way too much. If they do I'll try to find a new look, unless if I'm in PVE.

Doesn't matter what I'm like in PVE no one is there to judge me.

I dont know why, but I cant stand any mask, them uglya$$ hollow legs, and anyone running around naked...for any reason. If you're a dragon, then change...NOW...dont wait, do it now. And skirts (unless you're a chick).

Man, and them dudes running around naked with a sack on their head. Look Skyward That was cool when the drop rate for those things was like 1/10000000000.

Most of these people are horrible. If they summon me, I usually leave. I might try em out at first, but I dont feel like going all the way to Manus just to watch some glass canon get one-shotted.

As far as the masks, idk man. I guess its because at every pvp hotspot its always felt like Halloween all the time...I'm just sick of lookin at em lol.

That's what I'm saying since the first time I saw that :dung: .

Things like Hard Leather Armor, that look sturdy, have some weight and even have iron parts on them have 0 Poise, while this nonesense, which is just some tattered cloth, barely hiding your underwear has Poise?

Not to mention other pieces like the Wanderer Manchette, Black Leather Armor, Brigand Armor/Gauntlets, Mask of Velka and others have more than enough metal pieces to make it seem sturdy enough for at least 1 point in poise.

Poise should just be calculated by weight, that or everything should have poise regardless of how little it actually is. Not this BS poise system were the only thing that matters is what armor set a particular piece belongs to. Heavy weapons should either regain their hyper armor, or also have poise themselves.

Weapons with poise would be kind of awkward though. Someone meeting the bare minimum requirements of a zweihander will porbaly have less stability with it. So I think in the end it'd be way more trouble then its worth.

It's not about stability, it's about momentum. Once that sword starts moving, it's going to keep doing so until it hit's something. A dagger being able to stagger me out of a hit is ridiculous. Once you meet base requirements, your "stability"(I assume you mean balance) with a weapon becomes irrelevant. Unlike Dex weapons, Strength requirements are more about weight than actual damage output. Meeting strength requirements just means you can carry a weapon with ease, or at least as much ease as you could probably carry a 10 pound sword with. Some people think that increasing strength also increases swing speed, which it should, but It's kind of hard to tell if that's true or not.

Poise should definitely be calculated by weight, seeing as a heavy piece of armor would weigh you down, meaning ground you. I find it ridiculous that I can use the Eastern gauntlets and leggings to build up poise and still be under 25%.

The poise damage calculations should be redone, smaller weapons shouldn't be able to do much poise damage at all, larger damage should do larger poise damage.

Yep and yep. I dont see any reason why bigger weapons cant have say 1,2, or 3 poise, or just enough to hit a breakpoint. Especially if poise was calculated by weight.

Imo rollstabs effect large weapons the most, and this would seem like an even trade. Regardless of stunlocks and higher physical damage, large weapons are by far the most suseptible to punishment. They need a little "unnerf" if you ask me...which you didn't.....so.......

...we need skins man. No I'm wearing Havels but my skin is Brigands crap either.
