Need your Opinion on this build.

I have been playing around with the character build and I was thinking of this. What do you think?

not enough faith and hp, to much endurance and strength. imo.

1) Having 50 poise is not really efficient.
2) Use Thorolund Talisman.
3) Use a better shield. 50 strength is screamin Havel's.
4) Not enough vitality for sure.

I'm sorry dude, I didn't even ask...is this for pve or pvp?

its in the pvp section so pvp i'd assume.. otherwise they need to go to a diff board.

If you really want to use Grant, or any other great hammer, you gotta fast roll for a more effective ground smash. I got this one:

Grant's low AR isn't worth the 50 Str. I had to sacrifice poise but you'll be rolling most of the time anyway. The dagger is used when your enemy has very low HP for a quick finish off, and 10 Dex for a Pike/Demon's Spear.

The Artorias shield is fine. I it has great resistance against everything and has stability on par with Havel's. I can see why you chose it since it's weighs way less.

I'm not sure if you can buff the grant though...

I agree with rif's and Animaaal's posts about stats.

Gives you pyro to set up your Grant...and also a whip!

I don't know about you, but I dont think anything says "unholy paladin" like a naked man running around with a whip controlling fire while transforming into a demonoid.

I looked at this build and I am probably going to go this route.

Lol ya, but he does have his Grant WoG, he needs 30 faith for the wep anyway, and equiping a talisman puts him over 25% equip load.

If you feel so inclined to put a couple more points into endurance so you can use a talisman and WoG, be my guest, but I dont think you'll need WoG with a Grant and pyro. Thats my opinion though.

You also have a whip, which utilizes your 14 dex (which is really the crux of the problem) and people can't parry it. It will be a nice way to throw people off of your attck pattern.

14 dex is your prob right now bud. I would play this ballz out, learn how to cast pyro unlocked, and use the pyro to set up your Grant WoGs...any one gives ya any sh!t, just whip their a$$ lol.

***EDIT***

But just like with the MLGS, you better keep repair powder on you at all times. Also remember, you can only use the "Grant-WoG" twice before you need to use powder.

You could use the Eastwood Grain Ring, but I'd favor the DWGR. You'll need to abuse i-frames to stay alive. Your hp is so low that you're not gonna stay alive past 3 or 4 offensive moves anyways. And dont be afraid to use repair powder during a fight, he animation is pretty short.

Also, keep in mind those fireballs are gonna be pretty slow at 14 dex. You might want to consider Iron Flesh and another combustion/black flame. I think Chaos Fireballs are easier to manage though because you can lock-off cast them at backstabbers and make them walk through lava.

30 faith and WoG is helpful. Sure, it doesn't do massive dammage, but can do decent damage. It can be used to finish off an enemy (since most people, including myself, become annoyingly defensive when low at health). It can also be used to knock them down. It can also be used for overly aggressive people who rush in. Finally, for those with good shield or poise, it can be used to stun them, and for those devious people, they can BS them.

EDIT: my 30 faith falchion build does around 300 damage without any spell enhancing helmet or ring.

WoG can most definitely be helpful. Come to think of it, I dont have a 30 faith build that doesnt have WoG and SLB. I've never made a Grant build however. I'm also not a fan of being restricted to the Darkmoons, I love to co-op.

The Dragonbro I made for you is utilizing the 14 dex. Or least making an attempt to. I just hate to see wasted soul levels. I assumed the Grant was the focus of your build, which is why I tried to come up with something utilizing it.

I do see that your build is a mid-roller. If your willing to replace the Grant, maybe you should consider this: Evil Cleric

1) It puts you at 61 poise which is a good breakpoint.
2) The MSGS is a great strength weapon, and you can buff it. Fighting lock-off is a decent technique to pester bs fishers.
3) I made use of your dex by incorporating the avelyn.
4) I made use of the strength by using the Havels Shield. Use its special buff, it will help you greatly as a midroller.
5) The armor still fits your theme.
***The 10 soft humanity is a mistake, I was trying to incorporate a chaos side sword.

***Fighting Tips***
-Why have GMB and Havels Shield? Casting GMB and 2 handing your avelyn is a great way to pester casters without the ability to "close" the gap.

-Attunements. I dont know how you like to fight. I'd prolly have 2 SLBs and 2 WoGs and 1 GMB. SLB will prolly cause people to retreat, especially when they realize your mid rolling. You could either incorporate TWoP, or another SLB. You really only need 2 to 3 hits with a MSGS buffed at 50 strength to end most fights, how to achieve that is dependent on your playstyle.

-You're going to develop an addiction to grass. Keep in mind you cant use that with GMB. Use your shield to learn your opponent, and then determine your plan of attack.

-If you see elf ears, cast GMB and pelt them with bolts. Keep in mind that you can sorta turtle with your avelyn in your right hand. Shoot when they are afar, use your sword for close quarters.

-You have loooooooooooow vitality, I'd recommend MoM, but I never do...ever. Hence the current set up. You would benefit greatly from MoM though.

-The Havels buff employs deflection, and although you have 61 poise, it will create yet another reason for people to retreat, therefore giving you yet another reason to 2 hand your avelyn.

-Keep in mind the avelyn has the highest connect ratio when firing as your opponent starts their roll, imo.

A 'tank' with low HP. You know I can fast roll with 61 poise and have +1500 HP on a Dex build right.

This is as good as it going to get if going MSGS tank.

Nice. But it doesnt apply to him. When someone gives me stats, I always assume the stats given are reflective of something they are currently working with. I would never have 30 vit at sl 125 for instance.

Well that's why you tweak their builds you know lol. I usually try to tweak them around a weapon they'd like to use.

Come to think of it, I'm not sure if having 1320 hp compared to 1100 at this particular soul level would matter much. Its pretty much a OHKO backstab.

The Leather Shield aint bad and you get: WoG, VoS, GG Dance, and the Avelyn instead of the whip. Switch the talisman and crossbow with each other to suit your liking. Can you use the Dragon Roar when the VoS is active?

I might try this if I were inclinded to wear armor. I just think having that low of hp is gonna be a problem, unless you find a way to get your defenses to about 400, which I can't.

?????...the scythe gives it that kinda "unholy" feel no?

I do not mind. I appreicate the feedback on the build I showed. It has taught me the differences in equipment from experienced players.
