The painted world is in anor londo, you need the peculiar doll from the prison you escaped from to open the world up, its optional but a pretty good spot for some nice items.

ok i tried a bit more whit swords and you relly need to wait for a opening before strike..or you end up open for enemys to strike you...
but well practice is good doing it on silver knights in londo
