Castlevania-Curse of Darkness. Empty Castlevania-Curse of Darkness.

I'm a huge Castlevania fan (no, I don't weigh 20 stone, neither am I 7ft tall), I just love the games and have most of them, but this was one I missed. I think Edge magazine gave it the thumbs down when it was released and I believed them. More fool me.

Anyway I saw it on Amazon for a paltry £7. give or take and it arrived this morning. I love it. It's more like the 2D games on GB SP than 'Castlevania' which was also released on PS2. Whilst playing it I got to wondering whether the Castlevania games had any influence on the 'Souls' games because there is a definite 'Souls' feel about 'Curse of Darkness'. That's probably why I like it.

I loved that game so much. I beat it countless times and never got all the items and devils though.

I think it's probably my second favorite in the series, second only to SotN. I've been waiting for them to put out a next gen game that follows that formula, but they don't seem to be too interested in doing that.

Yep, that's the one. Can't think how I came to miss it.
