kind of hard to say if it's 50/50, but there should be flame damage. I'm guessing it's more physical though.

Yeah, sometimes the damage is weird and I don't trust it. Like when Super Orn does his butt smash and lightning goes everywhere, its actually magic damage.

i didn't know that Super Earl did magic damage instead of lightning?
i recently found out that Firesage's fireballs are magic damage as well.

According to some Kalameet's breath is actually a three way spilt.

I always use Lightning to block Orn/Smo butt slams, and it works way better than any magic blocking shield.

lol this why I use havels, that way I don't have to worry about trivial things like "damage types"

On strength toons I tend to use the Giant's Shield, 75% against Lightning. Effigy has also worked really well, since you just need to block the one hit. Similar to using the Crystal Ring Shield against the Four Kings.

You only need to block one hit, so stability doesn't matter. As opposed to say Kalameet, his breath is a series of hits. Meaning if your shield gets knocked away, you're *** royally.

You'd need equal physical and fire resistance to know, which I've never known to be possible. Perhaps with a modded character it could be done, but even then I actually don't think so.
