If you headshot them with the bow it will cancel the casting of anything, ignoring their Poise, unless they already casted it thanks to lag/latency and then you will have invisible spells/buffs to deal with.Automancer wrote:There have been rumors that if you hit the caster while they're casting Pursuers, it will cancel the spell's activation. You only need a headshot with a bow, otherwise you have to break poise. Force will interrupt any spell if its timed correctly, and the large glub 2h rolling attack is always going to interrupt a cast (again, if the timing is good)

No idea. Its the same as interrupting any other attack really. Kicks will stuff them too btw.

I have a Quality Pyromancer who has a bow on him in most times and as soon as I see someone cast something from afar I instantly try to headshot them. Doesn't work 100% of the time, but you can stop casting of Pursuers, especially those, like this very easily.

you need to stagger them, so depends on their poise, or like others said kick/head shots
the best pursuers are the ones that OHKO you 5 seconds after you dodge them and they end/vanish.

I have also seen those, the guy backed away, waiting for the pursers to vanish, and when they did he went to attack the caster, just to get hit by them! like...seconds after they were gone!
