First area to see vagrant?

I'm just curious to see what locations these things have appeared for people. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people haven't seen one because they are pretty rare.

My first vagrant appeared on my first playthrough at the Anor Londo archers. Since I didn't know what it was, I tried to spam r1 while the archers while the archers were shooting me. The vagrant then proceeded to troll and one-shot me. I didn't actually learn what the thing was until I made my first PvP build.

the first vagrant i ever saw was an evil one in the undead church, in a corner next to where the firekeepers soul was.would have walked right past it if it hadn't attacked(or more accurately, missed me, while still making the sound)

I met another one recently, on a mushroom at the very bottom of the great hollow. The other I saw was at the spot where you summon beatrice in new londo. Both were the evil claw kind that drops a single humanity (not glowing red). I intended to leave the great hollow one alive, to see how long it stuck around, but accidentally killed it when going back up to blighttown.

i think they also appear when you die and leave alot of souls/humanity behind...

i've seen one in the church in the undead parish too, i would have also walked past it if it didn't shoot at me, however it didn't miss lol it took off some good damage but i killed it.

i also seen one in the dlc just before you open the first shortcut. and i think i've seen another but i'm not sure where

I saw that Anor Londo vagrant on my first playthrough too. And I got insta-killed by it too. At first I thought that it was just some regular enemy that was supposed to be there.

Either in Duke's or in New Londo, not exactly sure where my first encounter was.

Oh yeah I forgot about that.Not to sure how many souls it takes to make them appear.Although I belive this method holds more water then the item drop does on making them appear in other players worlds......

darkroot basin is the only time I ever saw one, and it was only a few hours in to my first playthrough. 400 hours later, I still haven't seen another one haha. This was also right after I got my titanite catch pole, which I haven't received another one since.

That's more than I've seen lol. The Anor Londo one was the only one I ever saw. Quite frankly I'm glad

By the way, does anybody know if these things can appear once you kill the boss? I'm assuming they can't, since the one I first witnessed looked like it was being summoned to my world before it killed me.

Actually, now that you mention it, I've never seen a vagrant in an area that I've already completed. I've only seen vagrants in areas that I haven't finished.

I saw my 1st (and so far only) vagrant in Oolacile township, at the end of the really long bridge with a dark mage thingy at the end. I'm still waiting for someone to add it to the wiki (I can't do it myself )

actually they can spawn in areas you've completed. the one i saw in the undead church was well after i killed the gargoyles

I've seen my one and only vagrant in Sunlight Altar.

My first vagrant was in Duke's Archives, right under the stairs by the bonfire.

I actually encountered my second vagrant while dueling with another player in the Lower Burg... It came out of a room with one of the assassins. :o

The only one I saw was in the Kiln just before the 3rd Knight on the first branch of the narrow walkway. I wasn't sure what it was and shot it with the dragonbow. Knocked it off so never got to see what it dropped. Realized what it was after I killed it.

Two in Parish, near the altar inside the church.
One in Catacombs, behind titanite Demon.
One in Demon Ruins, near the lava (before beating Ceaseless Discharge).
One in Tomb of the Giants, on a platform you can jump onto from the lace where Silver Serpent Ring is.

That's all I can remember right now, but I'm sure I've met more.

I found one recently in the Undead Parish Church. They can appear after killing the boss! My first encounter was probably the most annoying position possible. The Anor Londo area with those 2 archers...on the 2nd bridge when approaching them and I didn't even see it and I couldn't even tell what killed me XD

Same exact thing happened to me just a couple of days ago.
