I've run into this in the forest as well, at first I thought it was a latency issue but it appears to be some sort of hack or glitched cast as the player used it on me multiple times in a row.
It seems karmic has more knock-back/stun than WOG as well although it's possible I simply didn't have the stability to block. Are their any tricks to resisting or dodging the explosion? The spell is so rarely used in pvp I felt dumbstruck trying to face multiple attacks.

I've never seen anyone withstand the knockback/knockdown effect. Even blocking. Less damage than WoG from my observations but unrivaled ability to flatten ****

Well, the fact that it is a miracle that can be combined with the TCC super-charges its power. I personally believe that this is an oversight, it has to be.

if this is on PC, then some people may have simply hacked the skill. i've seen people do more impressive feats with a games coding. if it wasn't then its definitely a glitch, and a heavy over-sight at that
