Almost to my target SL, need a few suggestions on equipment (first playthrough)

I played the hell out of Demon's Souls and so I generally knew what type of build I wanted to end up with.

Here's where I am at and what I have equipped currently (except my weapons are only +10 because I don't have the ember yet):

I spent a couple hours farming souls last night while getting a taste of invading as a Forest Hunter. I'm on my first playthrough and apparently I missed the Darkwraith Covenant and Ornstein's Armor, which is disappointing. Story wise I'm finished with most of the side stuff except for the DLC and I've just placed the Lord Vessel because I made the mistake of talking to Frampt when I got back.

So here are my questions:

-What is the suggested armor set if I want to have 50% roll? How about 25%? I'd like to have two sets to swap between to see which I like better (something I did frequently in DS).

-Which shield should I shoot for? Does that matter very much?

-Obviously I am going to want normal weapons for CMW, but are there any secondary weapons that I might want? I had a halberd, shotel, and a few other things that I messed with in DS. Would a secondary Chaos or Occult weapon be applicable?

It's a basic SL 120 pure Dex build mixed with a buff and Dark Bead except of Great Combustion. Both work basically the same, counter aggressive players with a spell in the face. I'm impressed that you managed to get all your stats to the respective sweet spots for diminishing returns. Also consider menu swapping a spear (Partizan or Winged Spear) in case you encounter a spear poker. Also this build has +62 poise + fast rolling, you're basically a fast rolling tank. You can also consider using curved swords (Gold Tracer) and rapiers. Pretty good build and happy new year!!!!

If you're dead set on TCC and CMW you can lighten your armor a bit and drop 100 hp (honestly I find anything over 1500 to be fine for Dex builds)

But as usual Wyrm's build is strong so I used it as a base to work from to make CMW work

a shortel will NEVER be a bad thing as long as you use it properly, as its a secondary tho i would probably jut enchant it anyway. i agree with Wyrm that you should use cured sword but i would suggest the falchion over the gold tracer as i think its better.

Yeah I missed that the Gold Tracer can't be buffed so Falchion it is.
